It's Official: Jackson's Mom Gets Kids

A judge gave Michael Jackson's mother Katherine Jackson permanent custody of the singer's children, after Jackson arranged a deal with the two eldest kids' mother.

The late King of Pop's mother will be the legal guardian of Michael Joseph Jackson Jr., Paris Michael Katherine Jackson and Prince Michael II, according to CNN.

Last week, Katherine Jackson and Debbie Rowe -- the biological mother of Michael Joseph, known as Prince Michael I, and Paris Michael -- came to an agreement over custody issues, which grants visitation rights to Rowe. The mother of Prince Michael II, also known as Blanket, has not been revealed.

I am so happy for those kids, they need to be with the people they are familiar with. There is nothing like family.thanks to Debbie Row for being a good person and not putting those kids through more stress and I hope the kids and her get to know one another. Debbie has been getting a bad rap for a long time, its not fair, whatever happened was between her and Michael,just let it go and move on with life.

If Michael had lived up to his agreement with Debbie about visitation then the children would have established a relationship with her. Every child wants to know their real biological mother and these children are no diffferent. They will soon be with Debbie and with the assistance of a child psychiatrist will at last learn who they are, and where they come from. It should then be their right to choose where they want to live.

I agree. Rowe gave Michael the one thing he wanted, which was children. Michael LOVED these children.

Rowe likely has taken into consideration, the effect of a complete change would have on them and made a choice to let Michael's mother raise them. If this is who they are familiar with, then maybe it is the right thing.

But here's my thought also. The Jackson's BETTER BE GOOD TO THOSE KIDS! I read so many racist remarks made by blacks towards whites, and even one on black voices calling whites a name I had never heard of. That blog was about these kids...Made me sick.

Joe Jackson needs to keep his distance as Michael never wanted Joe around these kids. Do those kids right! Michael LOVED THOSE KIDS and Michael saw more than skin color.

They are too YOUNG to make that type of decision, as far as where they want to live.

Personally i feel that the Judge in this case made the right decision. They KNOW her and the rest of the family.

If the Judge went any other way on their decision I am positive it would have everlasting damage to those gorgeous children...

And no matter where the sperm came from - Michael Jackson WAS their father and more importantly their Daddy. He has raised them, cared for them and everything else that goes along with single parenthood. It doesnt matter that they have Nannies and cooks and housekeepers.

I'm pretty sure that Debbie Rowe is not just a surrogate but is the biological mother. You can see the resemblance in the two oldest children and her. They definitely have her chin and eyes. I think their hair is definitely dyed black to match Michael's.

This is not right. Those kids need to go to a real home. They need someone that is not in the spotlight and that will and can give them a normal life. They have no Jackson blood in them. There is not one of the Jackson family that is normal. Everything in that family revolves around money. Not one normal kid came from the Jackson Family. These kids need to be given a chance in life away from any one with the last name of Jackson.

so, they should be given to complete strangers instead of family? the jacksons may have their share or problems, but so does any family. the only difference is that your problems and my problems aren't blasted all over the media and made out to be a hundred times worse than they actually are. those children are right where they belong. just because they are not "normal" to you doesn't mean the children won't be loved and provided for.

Shirley, do you know all of the Jackson family personally? If you are that close to them, and know them that well, you should request to take the children. I for one, don't believe everything I read. Do you see the headlines to the Globe, Star and Enquirer magazines?

Michael Jackson's mother raised him. Has everyone forgotten all the trauma he talked about while he was growing up. All the Abuse and such he incountered and now the judge gives these childern to her to repeat her skills on. Lets all get real. There is not a one of those children that was biologically his. None of that family should have any claim to any of those children. Jackson himself was a strung out drug addict that was just plain weird, and did a lot of illegal things. He was raised by this dear old lady and now the idoit that calls himself a judge feels this is the best thing for the children. These children need to be placed into the system and addopted out to someone that might be able to teach them what life is really like rather then how to hide behind masks, use drugs, and molest children. Obviously his mother failed with him. So lets give her another three to try it on. How stupid is everyone here?

Evidently Michael's mom did do a great job. She had eight children and no one ended up being a killer or going to jail, especially growing up in Gary Indiana. Evidently she did a good job because he left her with 40%, a shared 40% for children and 20% for charity. Evidently his mom did a good job because he always spoke about the love he had for his mom. Evidently you are not a mom becasue as a mother of five and a good mother. I do all I can for my children but understand that when they are adults their decisions are their own but you hope and pray that they remember what you taught them and use it in their everyday life. However, sometimes life teaches your children better than you can tell them!

It doesn't matter wether or not Michael was the biological father or not of the children, he WAS their father because he raised them, loved them, fed them, clothed them... everything a biological parent would be expected to do. I'm happy Katherine was able to get custody, I think she is a wonderful person, Joe Jackson on the other hand is a different story. Plus I believe the kids would be more comfortable being around Katherine and the family than Debbie... and FYI it's not Michael's fault she never visited the children, Debbie said in an interview that she didn't WANT to see or take care of them, that it was Michael's job.
