Reality television worlds will collide this fall, when both Lauren Conrad and Kim Kardashian will have guest judging spots on the 13th cycle of 'America's Next Top Model.'While both ladies certainly qualify as fashion icons in their own right, turning them into modeling judges is partially the result of recession-induced woes. 'Top Model' producers let go of former judge Paulina Porizkova in May, citing "the current state of the economy," according to PEOPLE.
Instead of having a famous supermodel as the fourth judge, each episode in this cycle will have a different member of the fashion community . Conrad will appear on Sept. 16, and Kardashian on Oct. 21. The ladies will join host Tyra Banks, photographer Nigel Barker and runway coach J. Alexander on the panel.
The season will premiere on Sept. 9 on the CW at 9 p.m. (8 p.m. EST).

Although I would never let my 10 year old daughter watch the Tyra Banks Show, we do watch "Top Model" together. Lauren Conrad and Kim Kardashian are the type of women that I don't want my daughter exposed to...ever. We'll be missing this particular cycle of "Top Model." Tyra, keep the drama on the Tyra Banks Show where it belongs and keep the professionals on "Top Model." Tyra, it's up to you whether we come back next season or not.
