Someone needs to tell this young man that only certain people (e.g., movie stars, sports stars and democratic party politicians) are above the law in the USA. If you happen to be a child of anyone fitting this category, you are not exempt like your parents. Your sentence might be reduced if your parents can afford to throw lots and lots of money in the direction of a world class lawyer, but getting off "Scott Free" is reserved for the 3 primary groups of law exemption.

Not so, you've forgotten about black Harvard professors...they too are exempt from the law.
Why the need to throw such political divisiveness into everything you say? You must be living a very bitter and insecure life... and I truly pitty you.
lamo! sorry but there are many republican that think that they above the law and as the harvard professor, that incident was wrong. Just as it was wrong that the police in texas taszed that 70 year old white women in taxas. These officer do have though jobs but it still don't excuse some of acting like they are above the law.
The Three Groups for Exemption. Democratic Party Official's children? What about how The first Bush kept his son out of having to go to war? He was given a National Guard post, where he continued to be able to stay at home in America and do his cocaine and drink alcohol?
Then there is the Great Moralist, Sarah Palin, whose daughter got a free pass for having sex out of wedlock and giving birth to an illegitimate child?
She never even married the father, just moved on without a word said. Yeah, Republicans are so pure and righteous.
Hey tench you really think Republicans are any better? Cheney, Bush, shall i go on past those two bastards for ya? The only way this country is going to get out of this mess were in is to have all the good ole boys (a.k.a.Republican Party)get the hell out of Washington and let some new young blood in there with the 21st century metality.
I got excusified from a whole heap of things so us Republicans is every bit as good at this as them there socialist Democrats is! Shoot fire, Laura done got likkered up and squashified some low class bimbo but she do a minutes time for this? Heck no! With a daddy like my great papa, I can get away with anything so ha ha ha on those lefty loonies in Hollyweird, we do the cover up better than you ever dreamed of....naturally ;-)
What about your hero, Ted Nugent? The Nuge flat out admitted that he staged a scam to get a 4 F so he didn't get drafted and sent to Nam, yet you chicken hawk kittens just gobble his garbage up like its a T-Bone steak thrown to a hungry pack of pit bulls. Hypocrite much?

Too bad about Not So Fast and Middle Class - rhere are SO many people who - due to theire less than impressive intelligence or sophistication, have never had anything important happen to themn in their lives - so they blather about on these free response pages selling website schemes and pretending they're Rush Limbaugh ... all they want is to be "on stage" but ... sadly ... without education ot training, all they can do is a sad sort of "look at me" standup comedy. I know Skip Gates - AND - I was beaten up by Cambridge cops and I'm a White Middle Class college grad - I hope someone puts a cork in their keyboards.

It's hard for anyone to make it in this world, but I bet it's a lot easier for the kids of millionaires and stars to get an education and a job than for my kids.

WHAT IN THE WORLD DID "the black harvard professor do"? hE WAS TRYING TO GET INTO his own home...for god sakes. I wish all you bigots would grow up finally and see that this world is changing. We'd better learn to get along with all people, regardless of their color or religion because this shrinking world is shrinking everyday for the formally whites of this country. I am white, proud to be and if you want to talk difficult...those that are NOT white are the ones who face more opsticles everyday of their lives.
Celebrity children? they should count their lucky stars that their parents have the means to send them to school, give them a financial foundation. BUT, the celebrity themselves are at fault for not spending enough time with those kids, so whose fault is it when one of them gets in trouble with the law for whatever reason?
