'Bachelorette' Unconcerned By Infidelity Claims

'Bachelorette' Jillian Harris and her fiance Ed Swiderski are taking a break from celebrating their recent engagement to battle some unpleasant news. Two women have alleged sexual encounters with Swiderski - after his onscreen proposal to Harris.

Swiderski's ex-girlfriend Lindsey Johnson and another woman, Bethany Steffen, both told Us Weekly that Swiderski was not faithful to Harris during the filming of 'The Bachelorette' or after she selected him as the winner. Johnson claims that Swiderski sent text messages indicating that Harris wasn't his "type" and that he prefers "all blondes." Johnson says she slept with Swiderski, not realizing he'd popped the question only a day before.

Johnson told Us Weely, "I feel gross, used and completely violated. It shocks me that he was able to do something like that to me."

Steffen, who dated Swiderski before he began filming 'The Bachelorette' in March, says the reality star tried to entice her into bed a week after he proposed to Harris. She says of her decision to go public with the allegation: "Ed's not worth my time, but if I can help someone avoid heartbreak, I'm gonna do that."

Harris has responded to reports that she's devestated by the news, telling PEOPLE, "I am not destroyed! There's a little bit of anxiety that comes with this news, but I am absolutely not destroyed."

"What did he do wrong?" Harris asks. "My biggest concern is with everything that happened after the day we got engaged, and after we got engaged he has been so open with me. He's told me all of this, every little text message and every little phone call. I use his computer. I know that any communication he had with the girls post-show was platonic. I'm not worried about it."

Harris says she understands that Swiderski would have contact with his exes, and that "feelings and emotions are involved. I know what it feels like to fall in love with somebody and to be in love with somebody [while] they are in love with somebody else. It's very heartbreaking. I feel so awful, but since we've been home and since we've been engaged we've been exclusive and he's done nothing wrong."

Harris adds, "Ed and I are trying to find humor in all of this - and there isn't much - but it's bringing us closer."

But Steffen has words of warning for the bride-to-be: "Lindsey and I are both smart girls, and Ed just has this way of making people believe what he wants. Jillian needs to be careful."

There is something not right about Ed. I think he might be gay. Which is fine if he admits this to Jillian ASAP. What's with the problem in the fantasy suite?? Also what was up with that bathing suit he wore?? My husband and brothers would not have been caught dead in that suit! I also think his is not trustworthy. Who tells someone's father they are in love after 6 weeks?? Should have been a huge red flag!! Just do not get a great feeling/vibe from him.....doubt they will ever make it down the isle! She should have gone for Kiptyn. At least he was moving slower and admitted he was falling in love. She must be desperate!

Are you kidding me ? She is not concerned with the fact that he slept with these women the day before that got engaged she is only concerned with what happend after. That makes no sense at all. If he really loved her and she was the one then there was no reason for him to sleep with any other women. He is a cheater and when he breaks her hear she waill have no one to blame but herself. Give it up already. If anyone was gay, it was Reid. Reid was a freak who had OCD about everything & so Metrosexual. Kipton, well first of all did ya see his parents? He had no personality & there was no chemistry at all between him & Jillian. I just don't see what everyone saw in those 2.

I'm sooooooooooo glad she picked Ed. So glad she didn't pick Kypton. Of course Ed could have picked a better looking ring,lol. But she made a good choice by dumping Kypton.Not sure that's the right spelling of his name.

How come she could have sex with 2 guys before the proposal but IF he did too, why is he the cheater & not her? She obviously knew that she was picking Ed that last night but still slept with all 3. She could have not slept with any of them that night but she led them on by sleeping with them. So she's not all that innocent now is she?

I think it takes a certain type of person to put herself in the "race" to win a bachelor's heart. When Jillian lost the "race" she no doubt got caught up in the idea of being in control, by being the Bachelorette. She liked the idea of the tables being turned. But that didn't really work out for her, since she's not very perceptive in judging character or motive. When I met my husband, it was an instant attraction on both sides. No one else existed for us from the day we met. Now, I'm trying to imagine that we meet, are attracted immediately, I know without a doubt that this is the one I want to date (never would I say marry, that quickly). Then I am surrounded by 20 other guys also vying for my affection. To keep the show going, I have to string four or five along and take them on dates to my hometown and meet their parents. All along my relationship with Mr.Right is progressing way ahead of the show. Do I then take other guys to the fantasy suite? Heck no. Mr. Right will feel like Mr. Wronged if I do that. I need to be acutely aware of everything I say and do, because I don't want Mr. Right's opinion of me to change after he sees the show (and the way they edit it!) This is a loser game, I stand to lose respect from Mr. Right and hurt a bunch of people by playing the game and making them think I'm falling for them. Jillian was WAY too concerned with that proposal. It was obviously, "who proffers the ring, gets me!" Anyone with the sense to go slow and think it through wasn't fast enough for her!

Jill, go right ahead and marry the cheater. You have my blessings. I will look for you on the next episode of "THE CHEATERS SHOW".

Sure a lot of you giving Jillian advice. What makes you an expert? I believe she is plenty capable of making her own decisions. None of us know the REAL story. It's Ed & Jill's life. Allow them to be happy & spend time together in peace. If Ed wanted either of the other "creatures" he would be with her. They are losers any way you look at it .....because they couldn't keep their mouths shut (or their pants on). No class whatsoever.

Ed seems like a nice fairly tame guy. I am pretty sure the ex or the "other woman" just want some of the limelight and are needy women who want the attention drawn to them in order to either get back at Ed for not wanting to marry them or because they have psychological problems. Whatever. I would never put any stock into what they are saying.

This is no way to meet your future husband. How much time did she actually spend with any of these guys in order to make a permanent decision like that? Sometimes you can date for years and not really know the person. I think the guys who weren't willing to tell her that they loved her yet or that they could propose at the end were probably the genuine ones. They knew that it takes time to truly get to know someone and fall in love. But she was in such a hurry, and now she got more trouble than he's worth.
