Aerosmith's Steven Tyler Injured at Motorcycle Rally
The Rapid City Journal is reporting that Tyler took a dive shortly after the legendary rockers began their song 'Love In an Elevator' at the famed Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. Apparently, the sound system had cut out. A witness told reporters that he tottered backward and fell from the stage and was promptly helped up by security, but was then taken backstage.
Guitarist Joe Perry emerged and told the audience that his lead singer was heading to the hospital.
Mike Sanborn of the Buffalo Chip Campground, where the concert was held, said Tyler was in "good spirits" as he was ushered away.
"He was good natured about it," he told the Associated Press. "He was talking and joking with the physician."
This was the first time Aerosmith had performed at the rally, and promoters had earlier predicted the band would draw the biggest crowd in South Dakota history. The number of bummed-out fans has not been released.

Janny-it's really sad how shallow minded you are. First of all my husband and I are Harley owners. He is a driver for entertainers (artist) and Im a retired insurance agent. Second, neither one of us have done a drug in our lives nor do we drink. Third-have you checked the price of a Harley lately? Of course you are bitter-you can't afford one. Maybe you should do some research before you down everyone else. Most all "bikers" that we have encountered are very down to earth, hard working, professional people that would give you the shirt off their back. As Dave said-there are some that are a little rough around the edges-thats what makes them individuals. Granted, there are always a few bad apples that spoil anything-that doesnt just include the biking industry. I look forward to every chance we get to participate in a bike ride which for your info are generally to raise money for a charitable cause. Did you ever stop to think that maybe Steven Tyler was a little typsy or high? Don't lay blame where blame isnt due.

Well, from what i've read by Janny, she wasnt degrading Sturgis, ND. Or why Aerosmith would play there. She's talking down about the 'venue'...do any of you kinow what a 'venue' is?? It means "the scene or locale of any action or event" She was referring that Steven to get the hell out of THAT place (the venue)! Geez, I really HATE people who dont comprehend what they read!!!!

Shave off some of the undeserved money's from Secreast and Cowell and even it out to Paula. Never-the-Less, I wouldn't be watching anyway based on the Debacle with Adam and the less than desirable voting system. Can you just picture Kara next to Simon?

I have learned thru the years...... when you drink, do drugs, party to the hilt... you are more accident prong than usual!!! As for me... I do go to church and I am a respectable citizen and my bible says to keep a sober mind, so being around all this partying, I wonder how many people are actually sober. Ya'll do the math!
Reply
Yeah, Mrs. Prissy. Sounds like you need a 'prong'.
Woke up with "Crazy" on my mind and i sang while getting breakfast, only to log on and that Steven is being hospitalized.........Get well Tyler......ur songz rock my world!!!!!!!! muah!

Brandy B. You are also wrong then, I have good friend who is a pastor. He and his wife go every year and they DEFINATELY don't fall in the group that Janny stated about.

There are many christian biker groups that come to the rally every year. Most bikers arent dirt bags at all.
c'mon Tyler is a great artist but now he is 61 years old..he is an OLD MAN now..these things are bound to happen at his age anywhere in the country..time to retire...I am his age so I am not knocking him or old people..its just real facts...these accidents tend to happen more with age..I hope he recovers well..as I said he is a great artist..but neeeds to slow down..
Reply
He might be up there, but the MAN can ROCK IT like no other.....
Get well, Steven!
