Ashton Kutcher 'Happy to Be Alive' After Emergency Landing

Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore had themselves a scare on Thursday when their jet overheated, leading to an emergency landing.

The acting duo were flying from Las Vegas to New York when things got hairy. Luckily, there's this thingy called Twitter that we're told Kutcher occasionally uses. "My plane just had to do an emergency landing." he wrote. "Engine over heated. Fire engines everywhere. Good times."

Later he said he was "happy to be alive" after the incident and told fans to come out and party with him later that night.

Moore, who posted a photo of the firetrucks, also wrote on Twitter: "Yep it is always an adventure in Vegas emergency landing and all!"

According to PEOPLE, the two were flying to NYC following the Vegas premiere of Kutcher's movie, 'Spread.'

I just through up in my mouth, reading about his plane, presumably his plane, and the second thig he says is he is glad to be alive. What has he done to help anyone or deserve a life like he has, while so many go hungry, and don't even have internet, let alone food for themselves or family. Especially the lonely disabled people alone in the world.

First of all WES it's "threw up" not "through up". Also, Ashton is a great actor and is very philanthropic......(that means he donates a lot). Jealously is a very ugly thing.

Why are you so bitter that this couple is successful? They've worked hard and seem to have a very loving relationship. They have parents and siblings - children who see them just for what they are - not star status. There are those out there who care about these celebrities and realize they're only human beings with fears just like the rest of us. Because their names are well known doesn't change the fact that they went through something that could have ended in a sad front-page story. Get rid of some of your anger and smell the roses a bit more. God bless.

I am one of the lucky ones that through hard work and smart investments can enjoy the finer things in life. Dont knock those that have just because you didn't. Also, I fly around alot. It's the only way to get from point A to point B a lot of the times. However, I recycle and try to do my part for the enviroment. Dont tell me that I dont care just because I fly.

Ashton is an actor of very limited ability, and Demi has been a joke for years, She is a product of a surgeon, and Hollywood. For those who are saying he works. Really, would you work if you got paid several Million dollars for a few months of work? would not wish a plane crash or death on anyone, yea he's a very poorly trained actor, and Demi is just a social climber who latched on to a young guy to feel young again, hard to tell but Demi and Liz Taylor are the same age.

Who cares if he doesn't donate. He did what he had to do to get himself this far and he doesn't have to share if he doesn't want to. People need to stay in school and get jobs. Public School is free. Take advantage of that. We live in a country where you can get a free education. Do well and they even pay for college. Even if you don't make it to college, graduating high school is still better than nothing.

Who cares if Ashton isn't the best actor or that he married Demi Moore and became famous for that. You haters need to stop being jealous of anybody more successful than you. Just about ANYBODY would work a few months out of the year and make millions if they had the chance. Stop being haters and wishing they would have died in that plane. Go earn your own money and quit worrying about those who have more that you!
