Kate 2.0 Loses Job And Gosselin

Former tabloid reporter Kate Major opened up to E! News about her two-week whirlwind relationship with Jon Gosselin. Simply put: she regrets it. "I wake up some days and I think, 'What was I thinking?'" she revealed.

"He's a great, great guy. I wish I could think of something wrong with the guy, but there really isn't," she gushed about the 'Jon and Kate Plus 8' star.

The reporter was first sent to interview Gosselin as part of her job at Star Magazine, joking she didn't even want to do it. "I had even joked with people at the office and said, 'Oh God, what am I, the next Kate?' " she said. But after their first meeting, Gosselin invited her to dinner in Manhattan. "There was an instant connection," Major revealed. Major resigned from her job, citing conflict of interest. Watch E! Interview:

The two began dating just days after Gosselin had spent a weekend in St. Tropez with alleged girlfriend Hailey Glassman. With tabloid magazines on their trail, Major and Gosselin tried to avoid the paparazzi and press by fleeing to Michael Lohan's Hamptons home. But Gosselin began pushing her away, saying he was overwhelmed with all the press.

"He expressed to me how difficult it's been for him with media constantly surrounding him, and after spending a week with him straight I can pretty much see how different it is," Major said (via The Examiner.) "Its been really hard. I've pretty much had to go in hiding," she said.

"Do I regret anything? Not really ... Would I do it again? Probably not," she admits. "Right now, there is no happily ever after."

who is going to want Jon anymore as he is like a used piece of meat the way he is flinging himself all over. To me I do not think much of him at all and am not convinced he is doing this for his kids as he always states is his priority. I think he is skum!

I can tell you this much - Some woman will take him. It's a sad thing, but a lot of women will take any guy they can get becuase they don't see that being with the wrong person is unhealthy to them emotionally, etc., they'd rather be in a bad relationship than no relationship. My husbanmd is a cop, wears his wedding band in plain site but is doesn't stop the badge bunnies from pursuing him. They don't care if he's married, has kids, a home, etc. If they can snag 'em, they'll take him and to hell with the consequences. Some women are pretty pathetic.

Kate 2.0 just wanted her 15 seconds of fame, she got it. Now she is recognized and her name is known. Now she will see what it is like to be hounded by the pop just like she hounded stars....have fun with that.

Really? She "can't think of something wrong with the guy"? How about the fact that he is cheating on his wife? Separated or not, they are still married and he has no right to be "dating" (screwing around) until the divorce is final. Whether Kate(1) is at fault for the breakup or not, he is still married and should keep it in his pants until he is not.

LOL, she cant think of anything wrong with the guy. Let's see.....Um, he is still married, juggling several girlfriends, and he has 8 children, two 8 year olds and FIVE 5 year olds. What else, hmmm...he has no real "job", other than being in the tabloids and on "reality" tv. Let me think hard now....OH YEAH!...he just used you for a week, then dumped you after you quit your job for a "future" with him. Kate 2.0, please stop giving interviews...you arent doing yourself any favors.

If you're separated there is nothing wrong with dating. There are a /lot/ of families in which the parents are separated and dating other people.
