Kathy Griffin's Date? Levi Johnston

It was either her charm, wit or bank account that did it, but somehow Kathy Griffin was able to land herself a sweet date to the 2009 Teen Choice Awards -- Levi Johnston, the father of Sarah Palin's grandson. The 48-year-old comedienne showed up for the awards show's red carpet with the 19-year-old Alaskan on her arm. They held hands and strutted around, with Johnston even hamming it up for the cameras by giving Griffin a smooch ... on the cheek.

While their pairing was very likely a publicity stunt and not an admission of coupledom, Johnston told Access Hollywood that Griffin was "beatiful and funny ... She's the star of the night."

Johnston also told UsMagazine.com how things work between the two. "I just, you know, look at her, shut up and do what I'm told," he said when asked about being her date."

Griffin said tha t"long-distance relationships are not easy, especially when he's in his igloo and I'm in my Hollywood tower." She went on to taunt other hot stars at the show. "Miley (Cyrus), try to top this!" she joked.

The roast of Joan Rivers was the lowest, most vile TV production I have ever witnessed. I am a court reporter, and I can tell you crime is up. I can also tell you, I know why. Society has become desensitized because of exposure to disgusting programs like the "roast" and what we are allowed, and allow our families, to view online. Folks, don't wonder where we are headed - you should know by now.

Absolute rubbish. Since it is such a chore to change the channel or avoid websites that are offensive to you, I do hope you'll find a time machine that will take you back to the 1800's. Golly though, I sure hope you're not black. Incidentally they didn't have shows on TV or naughty websites to pass the blame for innate human shortcomings. It is mildly amusing how such a pure soul in this falling society found themselves commenting on PopEater.com Kind of like saying "I hate being stabbed" and then repeatedly gouging yourself with a fork.

I think it would have been really funny, if Kathy brought John Edwards with her. Although, I think he's too busy trying to cover up the illegal use of campaign contributions he used to pay for child support. So lets analyze and compare a recent democratic choice for VP and Sarah Palin. I don't think Sarah Palin would be banging a lover on the side while her spouse was battling cancer!!!
You folks be the judge and get a little perspective. By the way, don't get me started with Lying Joe Biden. He's been lying and cheating since he was caught plagiarizing his law paper in college and had to take the course over. Love the ethics of my liberal comrades!!!

You know what's really funny? Any other celebrity... these unnecessarily mean and childish comments about her being "disgusting" and "not funny", etc. would bother them, but I bet Kathy Griffin eats it up because she's getting REACTIONS. Even if they are hurtful, unoriginal ones. She got you losers to go out of your way to comment on her or her actions, since you think she's so intolerable. Good job, Kathy. As long as you enjoy this kind of stuff, you're winning. :)

P.S. I also agree that anyone who says she isn't funny has no sense of humor.

Johnson is the biggist punk I have seen in my entire lifetime and Griffin is about as butt ugly as it gets so they look pretty good together. Hope it all works out...a perfect match!

In point of fact, Kathy Griffin is one of the most talented, original, and hilarious funny people of the era. Those of you who don't like her--- you count for nothing!

Levi is just a publicity add-on. Good for both of them to be seen together. Just hanging out with Kathy Griffin could smarten Levi up a lot. If, of course, there is anything there to work with. And as far as can tell so far, that's a big IF.

He's probably feeling a huge amount of relief just being away from Mr. and Mrs. Sara Palin. Mark my words, one more date with Kathy Griffin and Levi will turn out to be this huge walkin' talkin' liberal!

Kathy is funny; however, this was a mean joke. Hasn't Bristol suffered enough? Good grief!

Regardless of how anyone on here feels about her, no one can say she isn't brilliant. As some heckle her from behind a computer screen, the "low-life pig" is living a rather splendid life blasting the idea of celebrity while simultaneously making celebrity her b**** with stunts like this. For a "disgusting" and "vile" individual...she isn't doing half bad considering her sold out shows, reality show, two emmys, and twice going to the middle east to perform for our troops. If disgusting, vile, low-life pigs can do all of this than I suppose those who criticize her have more to show of their life than Kathy Griffin?

She is lame. She is not attractive or funny so she does what she has to do to stay in the headlines. I wouldn't miss her if she went away. She keeps hanging on, unfortunately.

Why would a young and good looking (albeit, not very smart) guy like Levi want to even be seen with a skinny old wrinkled woman who is old enough to be his grandmother, let alone his mother? It's not a very funny, it's tragic. But I guess tragedy and comedy go together...
