Hey Jesse - What historic icon hasn't dabbled in drugs? Especially in the world of art and self-expression. Elvis was a drug addict and Princess Diana had mental health issues. Yet, we view these people as legends and certainly they did have an impact on our culture as we know it. Some of the most beloved artisits actual write from personal pain, degredation and trauma. Did Michael Jackson have issues? Without a doubt. But I firmly believe without his now well-publicized issues with the demons that faced him in his head, he certainly wouldn't have been the entertainer that he was and for those of us who grew up with his music - I doubt if we will ever see such raw genius in our remaining years. As for the MJ haters, don't bother to take the time to read the articles or haunt the message boards. Certainly you have better things to do like combat cancer, AIDS and world hunger ..

Inever comment but Elvis is and was the King. He invented rock and roll. The drugs he did where prescription like MJ. They didn't lurk in alleys to buy junk. MJ adored Elvis and knew he was "The Man"

What thrill did you get making such a racist remark about while people ? Michael Jackson admitted his guilt when he paid $23 MILLION dollars to the first accusation, why not use that money to fight the charges ? Now as far as Obama, he is as we are finding out too inexperienced to be running our country. He campaign promised CHANGE and guess what his promise is coming true, he is destroying our country and has shown himself to be a racist himself when he stood up for that Professor that was arrested. And we are ALL somebodies, no matter what you might think. We are important to our families and friends and just because our opinions differ on Michael Jackson doesn't really give you a leg to stand. He became a bizarre freak, and I'm allowed to voice that opinion and scream it from a rooftop. You like MJ good for you. But what did he ever do for you ? Did he pay for your education ? Did he donate money to your family to help in your time of need ? What is so important about Michael Jackson that you need to make the comments that you make ? His contribution to music is real, and respected, and true, no doubt about that, but look at his personal life and what was going on, take off the rose colored glasses and you will see he was one messed up humanbeing. These are facts catie, we aren't making them up. History will tell you, he did in fact pay-off families, hush money. Innocent people just don't do that. They will spend every penny they have defending themselves from the charges and accusations, but Michael didn't do that, he paid them off instead. He was no standup guy. His music awesome, freaking awesome. But his bizzare personal life far out weighs that musical genuis that he was.
