'G.I. Joe,' The Real American ... Stripper?

Ladies and gentleman, prepare to be entertained... if your preferred method of entertainment is watching a video of 'G.I. Joe' star Channing Tatum stripping at a male revue nightclub before he got his Hollywood break, courtesy of Us Weekly. Just making it clear right off the bat.

Yep, that's right, the man who's kicking a-- and taking names in the blockbuster 'G.I. Joe' movie used to make money from his own guns (and everything else) back in 1999, spending his nights at a Florida male revue club called Male Encounter. His stripper name? A modest and close-enough-to-his-real-name "Chan Crawford."

Channing's former manager London Steele tells Us that the then-18 Tatum was "shy at first, but he really knew how to work the stage." Steele says Tatum worked the stage for about a year before moving onto other, more clothed ventures.

And despite the club's nudity-free zone, "the women went crazy for him!"

Tatum graced the August cover of GQ, and channeled his past profession for a skin-baring photo spread.

who cares. so he stripped. why do these trashy mags always want to bring people down. what a sad state we are in when the only thing a mag can do is try to harm someones reputation. US Weekly is no better than the National Enquirer. The people that work at these magazines are pathetic.

Even James Dean was a live in call boy for a gay Radio host, who got him his break with others like Rock Hudson, Roddy McDowell, and Liz Taylor. That is as gay as it could have got even by todays standards.

Same with the women strippers. Most of them hate men. Knew someone who's friend was a stripper and she said that they hated the men who came to strip joints. Only took them for their $$$.
