Criss Angel Clears Up Those Rumors: 'Actually, I AM Dead'
"Actually I AM dead," he corrected us. "This is actually a ghost, a spirit if you will, that's the Criss Angel spirit that's talking to you right now."
Those rumors originated from the very concept of his new season of 'Mindfreak,' which debuts on A&E tonight. For five episodes, Angel will attempt to defy death by attempting some seriously dangerous stunts, many including coffins, explosives and teleportations.
First up is a buried-alive doozy called "White Death" where he'll attempt to escape from a transparent coffin that's buried atop a snowy mountain. He'll of course be shackled.
Angel calls it the kind of "demonstration that Harry Houdini always wanted to do" but backed off from for fear of his life.
Check back next week to have your mind fu-reaked by Angel with a special PopEater magic show / illusion demo!
