Abbie Cornish: Early Days of Phillippe Romance Were 'Difficult'

Cornish, who was working with Phillippe at the time of his separation from Witherspoon, was widely assumed to be the cause of their split. In the interview, Cornish describes enduring that situation and makes us believe a historical romance based on John Keats' life might actually appeal to a mainstream audience. Highlights are below, and you can check out the full interview here.
On Los Angeles: "I guess I was lucky because it was love that brought me here, not work. I think the city feels and looks a little bit different because of that."
On press attention at the start of her relationship: "It was a really difficult time for me. It was just this world of tabloid magazines that I'd never been exposed to. In a normal successful career, someone usually learns these things bit by bit. For me, it was like night and day. I woke up one day and there was this whole new thing I had to process and deal with."
On the appeal of 'Bright Star': "People seemed to love it. They seemed to absorb what you hoped they would absorb... It was just beautiful,. You melted away into that world. The love story, the loss... that all felt very real to me and very alive.
On filming Zack Snyder's big-budget picture 'Sucker Punch': "It's a little bit scary. But the intensity and focus of it is what I enjoy. It's not like you put your toe in the water and wade around a little. You just dive in the deep end, swim around and then come out the other side. I like that feeling."

Two problems here-- one, some people keep blaming "the girl" for everything, and like someone caught in a tornado, things just might be out of your hands faster than you expect, and two-- hit the "!" and report the scam spammers so they can be kicked off. Lousy group of people stealing space to try and make money off of you-- fake porn, fake health foods, fake dating sites-- kill the scam spam! Report it!

i know, i totally hate all that "scam spam"! why is it allowed?
if she thought that was difficult, she should wait til he cheats on her with a co-star. Maybe after a couple of kids with her, he'll run into another whore overseas while "working" and then she can compare notes with Reese, for now, she can cry me a river.

I think the real question is why do you people care or have an opinion about such non-sense. You really need to get life's. There is a civilization going on. Oh yeah. I have one more question. Who in the hell are these people? And, what have they ever accomplished in life? Probably nothing of significance.

So we're supposed to feel sorry for this little harlet? I haven't ONE OUNCE of sympathy for her or that piece of garbage she felt was SO important to screw around with! Neither are worthy of the press they receive ... they DEFINITELY deserve one another!

Who wants to be with someone who would cheat on their wife and leave her for you? That's a RED FLAG right there! I'm sure in a few years he'll be looking at someone else or Karma will take over and she'll end up cheating and leaving him for some new and up coming younger hotter guy. Reece Witherspoon is WAY better off without a cheating louse!

If you are looking to blame someone, the blame falls on the woman. Women have more control, as an earlier poster stated about men "you put their p____ in your mouth, they become stupid". As much as men want to believe that they know the difference between lust and love - they don't. Both emotions evoke the same feelings from men, it simply confuses them. Girls like Abbie and Angelina are stupid, selfish and mindless. Abbie was a nanny for Phillipe and Witherspoon's children. You couldn't convince me that Phillipe was'nt diddling that homewrecker. As for Angelina, what does it matter that there wasn't any children? Brad and Jen still were MARRIED! And Angelina knows personally how infidelity impacts a family in a negative way. It just goes to show you her true colors. She is a selfish girl (I refuse to call these homewrecker's women). The guilt is what drives her to the humanitarian acts. She has to prove to the world what a great person she really is. What a facade! GOD knows, too bad neither of them knows GOD. All relationships have their highs and lows, what distinguishes a man or woman, is their steadfast resolve and resisting temptation. A real man and a real woman can say no and walk away. I don't care how unhappy a person is in their relationship, it is their responsibility to either fix it or nix it! Noone should mettle in a couple's relationship. Marriage is sacred and should always be viewed in that way!

A man who is in love and cannot stand to be more than 2 feet away from his woman, cannot be tempted! Very seldom do we see the bumper sticker, "I Love My Wife"..

All this aside, Reese did very well for herself...personally, I think Jake is HOT! And a much better partner for Reese. Ryan is a nobody...we wouldn't know who the kid was if he wasn't married to Reese. Two nobodys in love...next.

Keep in mind that Brad did not have children, that Jen didn't want children. Also that Angelina did not want to have a child herself, until she met and fell in love with Brad. I think they will be a forever couple....

Judy, Judy, Judy.....
Don't tell me, your like 20 something, right?
Unfortunately, sometimes love doesn't last forever, even the kind where you "can't be more than 2 feet away". Irregardless of what you think about Brad and Angelina (I happen to think they will not stay together), when people get married, typically they date or court one another first. All this stuff about having children and what not, should not come as a surprise once your married. And most importantly, marriage is supposed to be "till death do us apart", not until something else better comes along!

No! Judy Judy Judy is not 20 something!!! Judy is 68....
