You can be pregnant for months and not know it. It happens all the time especially if the woman is on birth control. Some women are larger and in their first pregnancies don't increase in size at all until well into their second trimester. Also not everyone has major morning sickness.

Not all of us know within the first couple of weeks like most of the population.

I was 7 months pregnant before I found out.....I still had my practically non-existant and not on time periods...and had a small knot in my abdomen(my son)and I was on Depo provera for birth control. Oh and since I got married because I had another child 6 months before with the same man, HE ruined my life. He beat the crud out of me every day and I stayed with him for 7 years ...because he was my childrens Father, Then had to hide for 8 (I had a PPO against him)all to find out he was a child raping killer while we were in hiding..BECAUSE WE SHOULD BE MARRIED WHEN WE HVE BABIES. Do Not marry because you are having his child!!! Marry because you Love...And Birth Control doesn't always work!!!! See where I am going here?????

Not everyone knows they are pregnant. There is even a TV show called "I didn't know I was pregnant" where people didn't know until they were in labor. Pregnancy symptoms aren't universal and some women don't start showing until late in their pregnancy. I know a woman who was at her lowest weight and at her best, physically speaking. If someone hadn't noticed her breasts were getting bigger she never would have gone to the dr. for a test. It was then confirmed that she was 6 months pregnant and she and her husband had no clue. While we are doing away with the subject of unwed mothers being "sinful" lets do away with the idea of what a "normal" pregnancy is and realize that the human body is still a mystery, even to the medical community.

i think maybe she was surprised when she found out. she probably found out when she missed her period but the article makes it seam she didnt find out until her 5th month. she didnt say when she found out.
