· Miley Cyrus' 2009 Teen Choice Awards performance had people talking. The 16-year-old Cyrus -- sporting Daisy Duke-esque short shorts -- did a bit of a pole routine atop a push-cart. 67 percent of our 50,000+ voters said her performance was inappropriate. · This week FOX announced Simon Cowell was finalizing a deal with 'American Idol' to keep those brutal comments coming through 2011, and his payout is reported to be a gigantic $45 million a year -- up from $36 million under his current contract. 81 percent of our 22,000+ voters said Cowell isn't worth keeping around for that much money. Meanwhile, 84 percent of our 22,000+ voters said Cowell's pay raise definitely added insult to injury for Paula Abdul, who reportedly wanted a measly $10 million a year. Get the story and vote.

· Rumors also swirled this week that 'Dancing With The Stars' was hoping to scoop up Paula Abdul to be a permanent judge on the show. Although it has not been confirmed from Abdul, 67 percent of our 15,000+ voters said they would love to see her join 'Dancing.' Get the story and vote.

· Heath Ledger and Michael Jackson's final films were approved for release and will be heading to the big screen in late October. Ledger stars in a fantasy adventure 'The Imaginarium Of Doctor Parnassus' while Jackson's film 'This Is It' will feature rehearsal footage from his planned series of London comeback concerts. So which one are you more likely to see? 64 percent of our 37,000+ voters said they'd rather go see Ledger's final film.

· Angelina Jolie made heads turn, wearing a black leather dress at the Hollywood premiere of Brad Pitt's 'Inglorious Basterds.' Yes, it seems Jolie is one of the few people who can make leather looks fabulous on a hot summer day as 54 percent of our 26,000+ voters said she looked "Amazing." Get the story and vote.

· Somehow Kathy Griffin was able to land herself a sweet date to the 2009 Teen Choice Awards -- Levi Johnston, the father of Sarah Palin's grandson. They held hands and strutted around, with Johnston even hamming it up for the cameras by giving Griffin a smooch ... on the cheek. Given Johnston's political ties and responsibilities, 51 percent of our 36,000+ voters thought the (possible) joke was not funny. Get the story and vote.

I didn't see Miley as pole dancing, I saw it as a prop to keep her balance while being up in the air and not on the ground, how silly that people look at the worst rather then thinking positive. I prefer Miley as my daughter had Britney when she was young and all her clothes were sleezy for a child. My daughter is 17 now and still has that style of dress, YUK.

Alright, this is stupid.. She wasn't pole dancing if you really think about it and actually see the video.. If you look at the pictures, dur, they will look wrong because people always manage to take the pics at the wrong time -_- she wasn't pole dancing!! She was on a cart, a MOVING cart holding on to a stick where the umbrella would be.. c'mon

awww, I wouldn't bash on you Miley, and from what I've seen not many people on here have either.

I think you're one of the most beautiful girls in the world; and your Tennessee accent is adorable. I think 16 is the legal age in Tennessee anyway (and in 30 other states), I'm from England and 16 is the legal age there too. So I think if you've got it - flaunt it; and if you wanna pole dance, then you should be free to do so.
