Alyssa Milano Ties the Knot

'Charmed' star Alyssa Milano married Hollywood agent David Bugliari at a rustic, Italian-themed wedding in New Jersey on Saturday, PEOPLE reports. Milano, wearing a custom gown by Vera Wang, walked down the aisle at Bulgliari's family estate with a lily of the valley bouquet. Actor Bradley Cooper, a friend of the groom, was in attendence.

"We wanted a wedding that was reflective of who we are as a couple," says Milano.

While the ceremony was traditional, the reception was designed by event planner Colin Cowie to mimic the couple's lives. Rattan chairs filled the cokctail area and hay bales served as tables for the guests. Dinner was served family-style on farmhouse tables.

"My Italian family still eats Sunday dinner together every week," says Milano. "We wanted to capture the same feeling with people passing around beautiful bowls of food and talking and laughing."

Milano, 36, and Bugliari have been engaged since December.

There is nothing Italian about this wedding. I know I grew up in Venezia and our weddings dont take place at a barn or with rattan chairs. ANd never a Vera Wang would make our gowns. I bet they don't even speak Italian and may only have 1/4 Italian blood in them.
Another wannabes. Yet Not long ago in this country Italians were too ashamed of themselves and had to marry Irish people to get their culture and blood out of their system. they were treated like blacks. That is what my uncle Antonio would tell me.

Both Italian with traditional Italian families? Why were they not married in a Catholic Church at a Mass of Christian Marriage? If this was performed by a justice of the peace they are not married in the eyes of the Church. If they were married by a member of another clergy than they are both outside the Church. Sad.

My guess would be that one of them was married in a church before and you cant be married in a church again without an annulment from the Pope.
