'Dancing With the Stars' Announces Largest Cast Ever

When 'Dancing With the Stars' returns in the fall, it will be a huge competition -- and not just because it's a wildly popular reality show.

No, this time, 16 dancers will compete for the Mirror Ball Trophy, the largest number ever, including Donny Osmond.

The list includes singer Mya, Aaron Carter, model Kathy Ireland, 'Entourage' star Debi Mazar and Melissa Joan Hart, best known for her roles in 'Clarissa Explains It All' and 'Sabrina the Teenage Witch.'

Others joining are former Dallas Cowboy Michael Irwin, Kelly Osbourne, UFC fighter Chuck Lidell, Natalie Coughlin, Joanna Krupa, Tom Delay, Ashley Hamilton, Mark Dacascos .

Tell ya this, I got a list of potential dancers and prancers and they would be a lively bunch. Here goes my 3 cents worth. My main man Howard Stern, Andrew Dice Clay, Harvey Keitel, former NYC Mayor Rudi Guliani, Hulk Hogan, O.J. Simpson-only if allowed out on bail, George Clooney, Weird Al Yankovic. On the female side of the species I would have as thus; Debby Harry, Tina Turner, Linda Hamilton, Molly Ringwald, Senator Susan Collins of Maine, Diane Sawyer, Pink, Madonna and Fergie, former Dutchess of York.

They should change the name to "Welcome to the D-list" Wanna-bees and almost beens abound, this year they have scraped out the bottom of the barrel and are digging down furiously for someone, anyone we might have heard of but,alas they have failed spectacularly. Really, the son and daughter and brother of d-listers are NOT stars by any stretch of anyones imagination and Tom Delay? Be still my heart.Suckfest for all!!
