J. Lo Isn't The Same Since Twins Birth

Jennifer Lopez admits she's a totally different person since giving birth to twins, 18-month-old Max and Emme. "It totally changes your perspective on everything. There's nothing as huge as giving birth to another human being and having to be responsible for another life," Lopez said.

"There's you before kids, and there's you after kids -- and they're not the same you. You don't come first anymore. There's somebody else you care more about than yourself," she told InStyle.

On marriage: "I'm still figuring it out as I go along. How do two totally different people come together and make one life and say they'll do it forever and ever? I mean, I've tried it. This is my third time. I don't even think I tried in my other marriages, which was immature and not knowing better. It's been a lot of hard experiences and a lot of ups and downs and a lot of mistakes. I believe that in life you learn through experience. I'm old enough to know now that relationships take work. That it's not an easy thing."

On being Marc Anthony's muse: "When we first got together, Marc wouldn't stop taking pictures of me. Marc and I were going through all the pictures the other day and he was like, 'I'm going to put them in a book and call it 'Muse' because you're the only person I ever take pictures of."

On her upcoming album: "The album is only halfway done. We'll see what it shapes up to be. I've had hit records and I've sold millions of albums. But it gets to the point where you're like, Why am I doing this? It should only express something that means something to me. Something I can leave behind that my kids can listen and go, 'Oh, that's what my mom was about.'"

On her reported diva demands: "I don't want everything to be white. There was this rumor that I needed white flowers and white linens wherever I went: 'Everything has to be white or she won't go in the room!' That's not true."

On her musical idol: "Barbra Streisand is my absolute idol. I love what she does. She's a singer, an actress, she went into directing -- she does it all. I sang Streisand's 'My Man' to Marc at his 40th birthday party. It was a perfect song to sing to him. I even made him a recording so could play it in the car."

How long have you known her, really known her that is, in person? What have you done together? It would be interesting to hear your story. Or, is the real story that you like and enjoy her music and acting and wish her well?

Jennifer Lopez is very talented and yet down to earth. She's got acting & musical talent that haven't been fully tapped yet. I really enjoyed her performance in "Out of Sight", just to name one role. She tells it like it is with her growth process. Refreshing, & she always looks gorgeous. I like what I see & I hope she's enjoying it all.

It is amazing when two things happen. It is amazing how good you look when most of your pictures are air-brushed. It is amazing how good you look when you can hire a NANNY to take care of your children so you can sleep at night, not heat bottles and all that wonderful new mother things.

Jonita, NO the husband is not the responsible one and NO ONE is saying that in ANY of the posts. It seems YOU are reading into the posts. NO has mentioned Marc. EVERYONE else is mentioning J.Lo as being the responsible parent. She is being the responsible parent. Responsible parents do admit that the children come first. BUT once again NO ONE Is mentioning her husband, its HER. SHEESH some people can read anything into a post when its not even in it or implied. LOL

Yes one tends to grow up when children are born. If they are responsible they do put the children first. That is what good parents do. It seems J. LO is a good parent and putting the children first. And some of the posts (Jonita) seems to be jealous of J.Lo being rich enough to have a nanny. Nothing wrong with her having a nanny if she can afford it. Nothing wrong with that at all. Good for her. She does look good. She must have worked hard. Of course J.LO has always looked good.

Jennifer Lopez has no talent. She can't sing, dance or act. I feel sorry for Marc Anthony's ex-wife and the mother of his other kids who said she cried everyday, didn't want to leave the bed and was very depressed after he left her for J lo. J. Ho is a homewrecker and still cares only for herself. She slept her way up the hollywood ladder taking no prisoners along the way but breaking hearts instead. Her ex-husband called her a man eater and wanted to publish a book on her lying, deceitful, manipulating ways, but she had that blocked. Ben Affleck said he couldn't wait to get away from this diva- and said he felt gross, nasty and sticky just being with her.She doesn't love Marc, she just needed someone to dote on her 24/7 and constantly appease to her narcissitic mentality.

Ditto. J-lo has no singing talent. Maybe, just maybe there is still a sliver of acting talent, but not much. But singing is not her forte. Just don't get singers doing dancing moves. Heck, we all know they are lip synching. People want to hear you sing, not your CD in the background. Leave the dancing for the dance troupe.

She is a very beautiful woman, and I think it was great that they had twins, as it was time for her to be serious about motherhood. I don't know the true facts about any ex's of either one. Too many times the ex's have too much to say, much of it is jealousy or lies. Whatever, it is up to the new couple to be happy, be sincere, keep their mouth shut about former loves, be grateful for healty children and the fame that brought them fortune, which sure makes life a lot easier. She does have talent and beauty, and I like to see her looking like a lady.

Yes, J Lo is EXCEPTIONALLY beautiful! Compared to all the other round-heeled stars stars out there, she is a paragon of virtue, and I agree with those that think she will be a great mother.
