Celine Dion to Release Next Hit: A Baby!

Canadian songstress Celine Dion and her husband, Rene Angelil, 67, are expecting a second child, Tuesday's Journal de Montreal reports. The 41-year-old singer gave birth to the couple's first child, Rene-Charles, in January 2001. The earlier pregnancy was the result of fertility treatments, and Dion reportedly used a team of fertility doctors in New York to help her conceive again.

Dion recently told talk show host Oprah Winfrey, "We are going to give it a try after my tour. Hopefully we (can get) pregnant again. I have a small window of hope. But we have been so blessed already. We tried six years for Rene-Charles. We have our miracle baby."

Angelil, Dion's former manager, has three children from two previous marriages. His recent bout with cancer had raised doubts of his ability to father another child.

Excuse me, but that's a very selfish comment you've made. Who are YOU to say what age someone should or shouldn't be when they make a child, you judgmental prig? As long as they can afford it, and YOU don't have to foot the bill, it's none of YOUR business.

My husband died at the age of thirty-four, when our son was only three-years-old, and what about all the other young fathers that have died fighting a war we shouldn't even be involved in? Seriously, shame on YOU!!

What on this earth makes you think that you are an expert on the situation? How old are you...17? Are you on of the nuts that think parents should grow up with their children? Perhaps that is what has happened to you. This could has many good years ahead of them, am sure that they have thought it out well, unlike those that do the dirty in the back seat of the car, and KNOW that they can provide well for a child in the event of what ever. I feel sorry for you....now do the right thing, apologize and grow up.

DB - you sound like you should know. Rene and Celine WAITED to become parents so that they could shower their little ones with all the attention they would need.... I remember so many people said the same thing about Rene's age and illness with Rene Jr.... and you all were WRONG then, too.

What are you, the product of 14 year old parents? What makes you an expert on how a child will feel with an older parent? What is your education...little I guess by your post? Until and unless you must pay for and care for this child, keep your limited opinion to yourself. Some of us learned the hard way that we parents should not grow up with our babies. After all, with age comes wisdom and better still financial ability to care for a child really well.

Celine had once said that she and her husband froze some embryos during her past infertility treatment(s). So, it is possible that she used those embryos. It is also possible that, at age 41, she chose to use donor eggs with Rene's sperm, which, I seem to remember, they had frozen before he underwent chemotherapy for cancer. In any case, CONGRATULATIONS to them both!

I can't believe you said anything about age we have young people that are serving for our country that have lost thier life and thier childen will never know them,or the mothers that find out they became pregent after thier Husbands got called back for thier second or third term and they have lost thier life think about it they were young and planning on having a family not dying and leaving a family behind a mother to raise a child alone and show thier child pictures of thier father. Are you telling me taht is selfish. I believe if you can provide for a child and you can have one then go right ahead. I say Congrats to the both of them and best wishes.

The guy is 67 yrs old; shouldnt he have been fixed a long time ago? Her at 41 is pushing it; and the child is at high risk for birth defects. Im 51 and I would never father another child at my age. I got fixed a long time ago. I guess she will be changing both the kids and the dads diapers at the same time.

I can't get over so many self proclaimed experts posting here. To all of you, where did you go to school, what is your degree(s) in, what real life experience do you have or have you learned all you know from the internet? It is too bad that celebs are forced to put their private lives out for the like of some of you to tear apart. I wish that you would remember that you do not know them, other then the internet and in most cases from this article. You have only knowledge of yourselves, if you can figure that much out if it is not on the internet. In short..mind your own back yards, clean up your minds and let others live their lives without your unwanted advice or comments. I really wish at times that the celebs could rebut some of the comments posted and give their opinions...let the jerks know what it is like. Hope that I did a little for them in this one.

I'm happy for Celine and Rene... children are such a gift. I DO hope though, she re-uses the things she bought for Rene Jr., as she spent an astronomical amount (like, $32,000 just for baby clothes) for the accoutrements that come with having a baby. I hope mother, father, and little one are al heatlhy with many years to share together!

If Rene and Celine are having another child it is Gods will. They are a beautiful family and they've loved one another for years another child is a tribute to the love they have for one another. Has nothing to do with money, has nothing to do with age-has to do with Gods blessing them to care for His child--as we all are His children. Gods love and blessings to your son and the new child--this child will be eternally loved by 2 beautiful parents.

Abraham was over 100 and Sarah was 99 when she gave birth to Isaac... so let me ask you, who died and made you Baby Police?
