'Dance' Pro Arrested on Sex Warrant

Don't expect Alex Da Silva to be salsa-ing his way across the dancefloor on 'So You Think you Can Dance' any time soon. The choreographer was arrested on a felony warrant charging him with counts of sexually assaulting four women, according to a Los Angeles Times report.

He was charged with "four counts of forcible rape, two counts of assault with intent to commit rape and two counts of sexual penetration by a foreign object," a Los Angeles County district attorney's office spokeswoman told the paper.

The 41-year-old dancer was arrested at his North Hollywood home early Tuesday morning, according to the report. He is being held on $6.2 million bail. He was first arrested and accused of the sexual assaults in April.

According to the report, all of the women involved in the alleged assaults were dancers or aspiring dancers who know Da Silva from his dance classes.

See when things like "sexting" are considered sexual assault, i'd rather rape not be grouped in with such a stupid thing.

The overt behavior of an assault might be Person A advancing upon Person B by chasing after him and swinging a fist toward his head. The overt behavior of battery might be A actually striking B.......this is exactly why i don't get how rape is sexual ASSAULT, the definition doesn't match the insident.
