Jackson Doctor Breaks His Silence

Dr. Conrad Murray, the former personal physician to Michael Jackson who is currently under investigation for his part in the King of Pop's death, posted a video to YouTube with a message for his supporters.

"Please don't worry," he says. "As long as I keep God in my heart and you in my life, I will be fine. I have done all I could do. I told the truth and I have faith the truth will prevail. God bless you and thank you." Watch It

Murray feels that this video only way he can reach out to people who are trying to get through to him because he is "afraid to return calls."

"Therefore, I recorded this video to let all of you know that I have been receiving your messages. I have not been able to thank you personally, which as you know is not normal for me. Your messages give me strength and courage and keep me going. They mean the world to me," he explains.

The doctor was with Jackson at the time of his death and police say that he administered the drug that may have killed the singer.

THE TRUTH,Dr.Conrad---Did you give Michael Jackson--PROPOFOL,DRIPTIVAN,AND OR DEMEROL...I don't care what others say;If you gave that to him,you were wrong!!!I don't care how much Michael begged you, You should have said;NO,NO,NO....Even if it meant losing your job to take care of him???Don't come up in court and say;Well, I did not know he was on other medications,that's no excuse...........

i hope he gets what he deserves,he and the other doctors kept micheal druged needs to pay. they should've gotten him help. it really makes me sad that all his so call friends didn't try to help him. i really don't think he knew what a real friend was,everyone used him for his money and fame.they all just wanted to be seen with the king of pop that was all.they built him up and then at the end they took everything away from him, they even tried to take his children upon his death,for money.i'm glad mrs.jackson has the children.love micheal 4-ever

Make no mistake here, I have never been an MJ fan - by far in fact. However, don't judge the doctor until you have all of the facts. As someone who suffers daily with extreme back pain that surgery cannot fix, I unfortunatly have to take prescription pain killers in order to even move - let alone moon walk. It's always been humorous and annoying to me that those who have no idea what it's like are the first to judge.

I agree totally with what you're saying. I too must take a staggering amount of pain medications (240 a month....yes...that's two hundred and forty pills) and this does NOT include OTC medications. I am a respected member of the medical community, work 40 plus hours a week, care for my family and pay my bills. Does this make me a drug dependant person? Probably....but without the medications I would be on welfare or workmans comp. I choose to live life...not hide from it. Thanks for your input, it means something.

I, too, am diabled by chronic pain. I have seen many, many doctors. One of tehm prescribd narcotics regularly. Another one prescibed no narcotics at all, but he did give me scrips for NSAIDS and for pain patches you have to use twelve hours on/twelve hours off. My pain is now a fact of life, and I'm very grateful for my life; I am at least able to continue raising my children. I stuck with the doctor who prescribes non-narcotics. I know that he really cares about my medical conditions, not just keeping a patient on his billing list. Living with chonic pain should not mean living in adiction an mental fog. This man, he sold his own soul while sending MJ' soul on way too soon. These types o doctor's are repulsive. Celeb docs like him hide behind the respectability of being able to say they are so nd so's physician. They just cannot find it within themselves to say "No, this is not good for you. I will prescribe something that is.". Sadly, too many doctors like this in the private sector too, but no one careswhn regulr averge people of moderate, to low, to no income - become addicts. Or dead. There re alternatives to addiction...where do we start? Has the dialogue really begun now that MJ is dead? Or like him, and so many unknown other, will it just die?

I too have back pain, suffering from spasms that feel like labor pains. You don't have to be a MJ fan to read the writing on the wall. He could have told him, "as a DR. I cannot do this for you because ther is a GREAT chance you may die, and walked away, that simple. I guess the check was something Mr. Murray could not walk away from and may cost him his life!

What doctor gives his patient an anestetic and leaves him alone. When someone is under an anestetic they can not breath on their own. And what cardiologist does CPR on a bed? I'm a nurse and I know you can only perform CPR effectively on a hard surface. This man needs to pay for his neglect which in this case took someone's life. It doesn't matter if you did all you could do to save him. This situation could have been prevented if he had not supported a drug habit in the first place. Second if you give someone an anestetic, monitor their breathing and place them on oxygen, don't leave them alone. Where did this "doctor" receive his license to practice medicine? MJ died way before 911 was called. The doctor wasn't there to monitor him.

I agree. I'm a nurse too and I have been so pissed off and appalled at how this so called doctor "cared" for his patient. And the part where he just took off after MJ was put in the ambulance, there is no excuse or reason for that.

P.S. I didn't even know this doctor HAD supporters!

Wow J.H. your response is to criticize someone's spelling. I hope the next time you are in the hospital and nurse cares for you, you will be grateful for what she is doing and not criticize where she may fall short. That's your logic for changing health care? Wow, aren't you intelligent.

Well said! I was wondering when someonelse would EVER catch on to that "CPR on the bed" move. What the heck was that coming from a CARDIOLOGIST???? Maybe poor Michael needed a nurse instead! This death was both preventable and unbelievable!
I hope they put this so called "doctor" away for a long time so that he can not hurt anyonelse.

It is funny how this crook suddenly found Gos. Strange how people call on the Lord when they get into trouble. I cannot believe this man with no conscious have any supporters. This man knew what he was doing was wrong, yet he did it for money anyway. You need to loose your license, and go to jail, you make good doctors look bad. You had money on your agenda, not the welfare of the patient. You stepped over the line when you administered Diprivan without the aid of frequent monitoring and a VENTILATOR. If you do not go to jail, they should let the rest of the prisoners out. Simply put, you are a MURDERER.
