Divorce Filed in Penn Marriage Again

Robin Wright Penn and Sean Penn are getting a divorce -- for real this time, OK?

The actress filed papers in Marin County, CA, that state that "both parties have already agreed to [shared] custody" and "the estranged couple have already agreed to division of all property," PEOPLE reports.

The Penns have two children, 16-year-old Hopper Hack and 18-year-old Dylan Francis -- although it's only their minor son whose custody is relevant.

This isn't the first time the couple has tried to end their marriage. They first filed for divorce back in 2007, but reconciled months later. Then, last April, the Oscar-winning actor asked for a legal separation in court, but retracted his bid in May.

In an interview with More magazine, the 'Princess Bride' star discusses her decision to split from her husband.

"I hit that crossroad a while ago --- for Robin, the 'I know what I don't want' was flashing in neon lights. I have no regrets. I, we, have two amazing children we raised together," she explained.

What will happen next? "There's clarity of life now. I think I've always been a follow-the-leader with my career, or maybe waiting for things to happen. Now I'm like, 'I'm OK --- I know the direction, whoever's on board can go with me,'" she said.

'The Phantom of the Opera' star Emmy Rossum and her boyfriend, music business exec Justin Siegel, called it quits in August 2009. It was reported that the couple had been secretly married, and would now need to file for divorce.

I don't know how long they were married. But the thing that I don't understand is how in the world did she stand him for anmy length of time.

I can't imagine that it has been easy living with someone like Sean Penn. He is someone who puts his mouth in gear before making sure that his brain is engaged. If Mr. Penn thinks living here is so bad, then why doesn't he move to North Korea, China, or someplace like that? Bet they'd shut him up quickly. Good luck to Robin.

To everyone saying, "Do it already!" perhaps if more people tried to work on their marriage as these two have, we would have less divorce in this country. I give them credit for trying and if it didn't work, then the best to both of them.

Never really could figure out what she was doing with him anyhow. Was really shocked when I first learned of them being together. This union was doomed from the beginning. Hope the best for her. As for him, he's a Penn, and who cares!
