'Bachelorette' Couple Together for Money?

Jillian Harris and Ed Swiderski of 'The Bachelorette' are still together, despite claims he was sleeping with with his ex-girlfriend while on the show and that he continued to romance another even after proposing to Harris.

But there could be a simple reason they haven't broken up -- money, according to In Touch.

"When Jillian accepted Ed's proposal, she was starting to fall in love," an insider told the magazine, but now she feels like she has to stay with him.

Ex-'Bachelorette' DeAnna Pappas knows why Jillian may be sticking around.

"Hours after my finale, I was bombarded with offers for endorsements, special appearances and more. But the catch was they wanted both me and my fiance [Jesse Csincsak]," Pappas explained.

"If Jesse and I stayed together, we could have easily cashed in. But for me, it felt like selling out," she added.

A source claims that Swiderski and Harris are entertaining offers to appear at a Las Vegas nightclub and other clubs around the country. "Once the offers dry up, the relationship will probably end," the source said.

Why are people so cynical? Maybe they are really in love! I will be very surprised if there's proof of the allegations against Ed. He doesn't seem like anything but a stand-up guy. Not like Wes, who seemed sleezy from the start. All this doubt about people's intentions is getting ridiculous.

I am married for 51 yrs...and what I see between Jillian and Ed is true love. He had other woman in his life...but when Jillian came into his life he knew she was the one he wanted to spend the rest of his life with. Jillian found love, so did Ed. Watch the re-runs on u-tube you can see the love they have between them. I know they will marry..and the best thing they are doing now is keeping out of the limelight to work on growing a life together. When Ed had his talk with Jill's mom and dad he came across very comfortable, relaxed and honest. I wish Ed and Jill much happiness today, tomorrow and always.

I hate to burst any bubbles, but being married 51 years doesn't make you an expert in love. It only makes you an expert of your own relationship. I watched the entire series, not just YouTube snippets. In the series, Ed had a very bad habit of looking away from Jillian when he spoke about serious subjects. Any layman, and any psychologist can tell you, he couldn't look her directly in the eye because he was hiding something or not being truthful about what came out of his mouth. Let's also keep in mind, the fateful night he couldn't, or wouldn't 'perform.' That speaks volumes in itself. None of us have any idea what is going on with him, but his actions are complicit with a man who is not being truthful. He was the only one allowed use of a computer and cell phone, strictly for work, and used them to contact other women. That's unethical and immoral considering why he was on this show. That alone is reason enough to throw doubt into this relationship. He is not an honest human being. If I was his mother I'd be extremely embarrassed!

Are you people high? Yeah, it's the "real deal"... sure... That's why he told his supposed ex girlfriend to pick up beer & condoms for their reunion once the show ended. Nobody goes on these shows looking for love; they are looking for attention & money. Get a effin' clue.

Ed is gay........any guy that would wear those green shorts and his posture says "Come on guys, I am available". That is why he had such a "non-hard" time their first sleep over.

Our gay-dar was out on that guy from Day One. He even made a remark to Jill's Dad in the dancing scene. Freudian, much?! Geez, people. The whole thing is one big scam. The girls he is supposed to have slept with got their pics in mags, too. Gimme a break -- everyone's in it for the bucks! It's total crap entertainment and we all love every minute of it. Am I the only one that thinks that Jillian herself is not that great of a catch? She's not that intelligent, only ok looks, definately drawn to guys that are going to hurt her at best and losers at worst. Of all the bacheloretts, she's was a sure dud.
