I used to feel the same way, but now I feel that abortion should probably not be legal at all...think of all the women who would lie and say they had been raped in order to get the abortion. I don't think it would put an end to abortion at all.

What is wrong with people like you who are so willingly giving up every freedom that we fought for in this country. Should we outlaw fast food and deep fried food because it makes you fat and leads to early death? Should we also outlaw tobacco and alcohol since they kill so many people every year? Who do you think you are that you can be the voice of moral reason for an entire country? The right to choose is about the right for YOU to choose not to. it is easy to say, to play u pay. but in reality that story was to b held true, it would b the children that suffer.
Not fair to them havin a parent that don't really love them and not taking care of them the proper way.
i wasn't blessed with having a child of my own. i would love to give a new born a beautiful safe secure home. but the law don't allow that either, not enough money and no husband.

it is not narrow moral opinion to feel abortion is wrong. it is wrong to take a life if u r born into this world, y is not wrong to take that same life when it is a child still inside the mother?
it is STILL a life, a beating heart, a child of GOD. Abortion should be allowed but under ONLY special reasons. Like rape, health to mother, etc. Extreme cases.

then you have females that A. don't want kids. B. addicted to some type of drug. C. sleep around so much don't know who the daddy is anyway. D. females givin birth and killin it.
Then u have people like me, for some reason GOD deemed it Okay for me not to have a child of my own. Instead of dwelling on it, i have fostered 16 children. I am None of the above type females. I have loved all my children no matter what they have done to me.

So u should b careful of judging people b4 u know all the facts.

to lie about being raped to get an abortion is a REAL sick minded person to begin with. But to be able to abort due to rape should have to come with paper work. ER visit with a rape kit proving the rape.

I agree with you 100%. I am a teenanger and honestly if people don't feel like having a kid then don't do what it takes to have a kid. And if you are doing it then be prepared.

My sister-in-law had her baby @ 6 months & today she is a normal teenaged girl......the law allows for babies to be aborted full term.....how is that not murder in anyones eyes I will never understand. Pro aborts need to take a few biology classes. Abortionists don't want potential moms to see what the baby looks like or how developed it is because that would cut down on business......

I agree. and to the person who thinks she/he has a narrow moral opinion you're wrong. There are people, like above, who cannot have children and just because you DON'T want a child doesn't mean you have the right to abort it. don't have sex if you're not ready for EVERY possible outcome, including a child. it isn't their fault that their parents are immature selfish people. if you can't handle raising the child, give it up for adoption, i cant say i've made that stupid mistake and i don't know what it is like to carry a child for 9 months and the bond that you make with them but seriously it all goes back to the beginning.. if you cant handle what comes AFTER sex don't have it. the unborn child doesn't deserve to be punished for your stupid mistakes.

It is completely untrue that if you aren't ready for kids you aren't ready for sex. I have been ready for sex since I was 16, but I may never want to have kids. Sex is for pleasure and increased intimacy with your significant other, not ONLY for procreation.

Just how any of you have the right to believe that abortion is wrong others have the same right to believe in a womens right to choose.. In what world would it be right to force someone who may not be ready to have a child to do so, jus so that child goes on to have a horrible life.. I myself could never have an abortion, and am currently 6mons pregnat with my first child (and very happy). Though I kept my child, it is calming to know that I had the ability to choose, and that right should never be taken away from anyone.. It is a personal choice and if one feels the need to abort and can live with themself, who am I to jugde, I leave that up to God! Every womans story is unique and a law that does not allow for someones personal life situation to be considered should not be allowed... especially with something as big as bring a life into the world... at the end of the day its one persons choice, not an entires populations, America is not going to be in your home raising your child

I think it is funny people that are pro abortion use the "We fought for our freedom & our rights..." blah blah blah & "everyone should have a choice...". They say it in their own statement. EVERYONE should have a choice. Why should we not ask the fetus if they want to die or not? Because they can't talk? So then lets take rights away from mutes!!! That's all I am going to say.

It's MY BODY and I should HAVE the RIGHT to do what I please with it. What's it to you? Having an abortion does not make you selfish. Having an abortion makes you selfless and responsible.
