'Survivor' winner Richard Hatch found himself back behind bars just hours after appearing on 'The Today Show' to talk about his four years in prison for tax evasion, MSNBC.com reports.
Police took the reality star into custody at his sister's Rhode Island home, where Kristin Hatch heard her brother tell deputies, "Do what you need to do, just tell me why."
"I heard him tell Rich that he [Hatch] did an interview, and that's why he was going back to prison," Kristin told Matt Lauer.
However, both NBC and Hatch himself say the interview was approved by the Federal Bureau of Prisons.
Even Hatch's lawyer doesn't know why he's in prison again.
"I have spoken to Richard, and I'm so sorry to say I don't know what the grounds are for why they have him back in jail," Cynthia Ribas explained to Lauer. Watch Hatch's Original Interview Below
it really seems like they are proving his point for him. Prosecutorial misconduct and discrimination. sounds like it to me. You will respect ma autorite'. with all due respect judge/prosecutor/DA Cartman. Respect is something you earn by applying the law equally to all citizens and that includes you. When will we see prosecution for misconduct in jurisprudence.... uuhhhh never!

All of the things that others do and they stay on Richard Hatch for this again? They let murderers go, and people that do worse things out for pitiful little excuses about their childhood -- something is wrong with the system. And for those in Escambia County FLorida when trial comes up for those men and that woman that killed that couple -- please do your job on the jury!
Maybe Richard missed his shower buddies. What a queen he is. Bet Big Bubba is pleased to shower with him once again. Bend over Richard and pick up the soap.
AOL ..Get a life and stop with Paula already. She is a worn out has been. NO talent drunk. Who cares about her and that dumb azz show AI? They both suck. Tell her to stop missing her AA meetings.
Our courts suck big! This is America, we have freedom of speech, or do we? Richard ...tell the justice system to go and f--k off. Sue their dumb system and hope you win millions when you sue.
Once again the righteous American Gestapo has struck to try to kill off American values and rights. We are the law folks and we can do what we want! Just like arresting the black professor for saying something they didn't like. The freedom of speech is only for those in charge.
This is not the land of the free anymore. When a Senator says at a town meeting on tv that it doesn't matter how much of a ruckus you make because they are going to do what they want to to do anyways and screw what everybody else wants. I believe that Richard Hatch served his time for something that the network was also guilty for. He is the scapegoat and he has the u know what (b....) to talk about it and obviously we don't have the freedom to speak our mind anymore. I noticed this during the election. All the networks had their opinions and if you didn't have the same opinion then too bad u were a piece of cr.. So you were silenced. Think about it Sarah Palin was run thru the ringer because of the outfits she wore. It worked and people talk negatively about her all the time. Their opinion is right and everyone else is wrong. Its sad we have taken so many steps back when we have come so far. People think about it and look around u will see I am right. If you don't I am sure I will get censured and my comments won't be printed.
I work with parolee's and from the interview I can tell you he did what he was required to do to do the interview. However, they will and often do arrest parolee's probationers etc, if they speak out, in Montana a prisoner who was raped by the guards was placed in solitary confinment for years, the guards wher transferred. And until the person recants they will not be allowed to see daylight. So for Hatch to speak out he risked alot and will be punished for speaking out.
They are too busy in Escambia County making the Billings family out to be pieces of trash. It doesn't matter that they were brutally slaughtered while one of their children was in the same room with them. Or that they were murdered. We have to trash their memory so that the pieces of crap that took their life dont die in the electric chair. I guess its okay to kill because the media and the crooked lawyers will make you look like you were bigger pieces of crap than your murderers. Sad so sad. This family will now look guilty and the murderers will look like they were forced to do that!!!!!
why was he arrested???? simoly because he made the gov't look stupid and the court system look flawed(which it is0 in the interview. since when is it a "crime" to speak to Matt Lauer? If this sticks? WELCOME TO NAZI AMERICA FOLKS! Freedom? pfffffffft!
Arresting Richard again is outrageous and hardly an example of what should be happening in the United States of America...If the prison approved his being interviewed that should be the end of it...hopefully now Richard's lawyer will turn around and sue for a million dollars as no doubt this was his way of possibly earning a little bit of money...or is the government trying to prevent him from getting on with his life after serving 4 years behind bars!!!
