A Jonas Joins 'Idol' But Simon Still Mourns Paula

wow, Kara a creep? kinda harsh don't you think? I only watch the auditions because it's funny, but I think I'd rather have someone who has written hit songs HERSELF, and CAN ACTUALLY SING (not to mention she's hot), give me an honest evaluation of my talent (or lack thereof), rather than clap like she just had her nails done, and stoking my ego, from someone who really has never been a very talented vocalist - I'm not saying popular people, because Paula obviously was, and is.....I'm just saying realistically, she was never that vocally talented to be giving others advice on talent.

My family and I have decided not to watch this season.

I agree, the show will not be the same, I dont think that was fair what they did to Paula, the audience was really looking for her comments, I hope she finds something alot better then American Idol, you know they if you dont have something that was connected to you, it was not ment for you, because their are better things comming your way.

Agreed. Paula was the gentle "heart" of the show. She was the perfect match to Simon's harsh honesty. They were great together. I like Randy as well. But Kara? Well, she has the personality of a wet dishrag. Someone said she wrote brilliant songs. Well, the one she wrote for the final two to sing, "No Boundaries" reaaaaally sucked. Lyrics were bad and it was impossible to sing. As far as her judging goes, she has her head up her butt.

i am not going to watch this season at all
it is not the same without Paula
nor will i let my kids watch this show
her leaving says it is not good to be kind and have heart

when Kara first came on I said to myself, "who is this gal???" Had never heard of her before. All the others were well known, but why her??? Just because someone can write poems (lyrics) doesn't mean they can give singers advice.

American Idol will drop in ratings without Paula!Kara is the one who should of got the boot! They didn't need her(Kara) last year and sure don't need her next year!!! Idol needs Paula!!

Well BOB, where are all the great tunes with Kara singing if she's all that. I absolutely cannot stand her and "she" along with Paula not being there is why my house won't be watching this season. I'm sad about it because we are all die-hard Idol fans and have been from the beginning but even before last season ended we all said we wouldn't watch if Kara came back. Nobody knows her and Nobody wants to. Sorry.

I agree, however, Kara is not a creep. She definitely is not Paula. I think that if Paula doesn't return to Idol, soon after that will be the end of a great reality show. I'm sad that Idol changed it all by inviting a fourth judge.

Paula was an idiot. Thank god we don't have to suffer through her drugged out ramblings anymore. By the way. I'm not a fan of Kara either. She's just a megalomanical, egotistical hack that can't sing or write. LOSER!

I stopped watching regularly when they brought in Kara. She is such a boorish person. Now that Paula is gone, I won't watch again at all. I believe Simon is talking out of both sides of his face because I think he controls the money, which is where the parting of ways came from. I cannot believe they wouldn't give Paula what she had asked for. She deserves top pay for making the show what it is.
