When will TLC do the right thing and cancel this show. I used to watch because the kids are cute. Now I think it's in their best interest to cancel. They have a beautiful home, their educations must be paid for and now they need a mom who isn't on the road 20 days a month. I'm sick of hearing from parents that the kids come first and that is all they care about. BS. Kate traded the kid's best interests for celebrity. Yes, Jon had to grow up fast, but he decided to bring the kids into the world and to sacrifice privacy for what he thought was going to be an easy buck. Grow up and do your jobs (hopefully not on TV!).

Mavis is a Kate Goslin wanna be look-alike , just like 30% of the women in America, that's why, she is such a bitter mess !

The Gosselins have lived beyond their means and now they are trapped. Nobody is perfect, I myself have bought something I would have to sell if I had lost my job and bought it anyways full well understanding the risk. The part that bothers me is that things have changed and John & Kate continue to want to live the same way. They could cancel the show but that would mean they had to sell some of their assets. Saying he works is laughable. The kids are the ones that work. John & Kate should be living in an average home and saving the extra money for their children's college funds or other emergencies. Living the good life is done and over with. Eventually these two will have to change their lifestyle. I do not know have they already have some form of savings. I hope they do!

I wish TLC would move on with something else. Stop the show once and for all.Let them try to get a real job and live a normal life. I don't think they could, they have had too many hand outs and are way too spoiled & selfish. I'm so sick of Jon & kate plus 8. I will not watch the show or buy any magazines that have Jon & kate in them.

All I have to say to him is .....bye- bye. If it was just the Kate+8 show, it would probably be better and they would still have the cute rhyming thing going on.

If you even watched the show, you would know that they BOTH get all kinds of free trips and goodies. Kate does book signings and goes to spas and who knows what else when she's doing them, and Jon stayed home with the kids. When the show first started, they both were laid back, sisn't care about clithes or material things--Jon had to take Kate shopping because she didn't know how to dress other than super casual jeans and t-shirts. Now they are both two completely different people and it is sick how they are using their kids for their own purposes. I used to love the show, but I haven't watched it since last season midway through because it stopped being about the kids and started being about the parents. And they are not interesting, just lame.

These are two educated people. They both need to get "typical" jobs like the rest of us, downsize the lifestyle and let the kids have a normal childhood.

This guy could not make this kind of money ever I own three companies bring him on, and let him go back to a normal world and see what he does. HE IS FULL OF CRAP!!!!!

All of you who are calling for TLC to cancel the show here's an idea "STOP WATCHING IT". If you do not like Jon or Kate or whatever "STOP WATCHING THE SHOW". This is their employment, their job. This is how they provide for themselves and most importantly for their eight children. I wouldn't ask your employer to fire you because I don't like you (or maybe someone should). Again, if you do not like one or both of them then "DO NOT WATCH THE SHOW".

Yeah, wait until Jon see's what quitting his 'claim to fame' tv show will do to his social life, lol. Kate fell for him when he was a simple grass cutter at a hotel. These other women like his celebrity, not chubby Jon with 8 kids.
