Exclusive Video: Inside Katharine McPhee's 'Had It All' Video Shoot

Katharine McPhee is back in a big, blonde way. The former 'Idol' runner-up is ready to take the music world by storm with her new album 'Unbroken' (out on Oct. 6) and PopEater was lucky enough to get a behind-the-scenes sneak peek of the video for her single, 'Had It All.' McPhee tells us she's digging her more "adult" sound, and also also discusses Paula Abdul's 'Idol' departure. And are there any more kids on the way for the married pop star? The 'Idol' alum says she hopes that Paula Abdul is "great," and that she hopes "she goes and does what she really wanted to do," now that she's no longer an 'Idol' judge. When asked if she'd herself be interested in a guest judge spot on 'Idol,' McPhee shyly accepts.

"I guess if I was invited ... that's my family. I'd always be happy to be back. I don't know if I'd be very comfortable to be judging all of a sudden," she tells PopEater.

McPhee also tells PopEater that being married for more than a year isn't making her want to settle down with kids just yet.

"It's sort of hard to plan... I really want to live out the record. Plus, I really like kids, but when they start crying it really makes me nervous. I don't think I'm quite there yet," she jokingly said with a smile.

Great video I am so excited for this record! The single is amazing. But one correction, the CD is out Oct 6th not the 13th!

I knew it, I knew it. I knew she would bleach her hair in favor of the porn star look. When I seen her on American Idol, I thought she had the most beautiful head of dark hair with big curls, but knew she wouild eventually dye it blonde and use sex to sell her music like all the rest of the girls in the industry, that is the main reason why I didn't vote for her and voted for Elliot Yamin instead.

And even though I know that the choppy cut is all the rage, I will even go so far as to say the cut is age appropriate and even cute on her. But the color...Her features are washed out.
