Anderson Cooper Rips Into Speidi

We always knew that Anderson Cooper was the silver fox, but we never knew just how sharp his claws were! Thanks to Heidi Montag and her Miss Universe performance, Anderson was ready to pounce and did just that, tearing Heidi (wife of our pal Spencer Pratt) to shreds, saying she has found a "fresh new way to embarrass herself." Cooper put the hard news on hold this week to dedicate two minutes to eviscerating Montag and her performance, starting off his rant with the following: "I don't really know who this person is, nor why she is pretending to be a singer nor why anyone should listen to her, but apparently she's famous."

He continued, saying that Montag is "so famous she actually Twitters.... And she Twittered to congratulate herself. She tweeted she had so much fun, and she also thanked God. I don't think God had anything to do with this production."

After a quick back-and-forth with a CNN contributor, Cooper hypothesized that "If God has the time to work on this production and that's the best God can do, we're all in trouble." When Cooper continued, saying he wasn't sure who Heidi even was, his counterpart informed him that "she's married that annoying Spencer Pratt." Ouch.

Anderson Cooper hit the nail right on the head. This was, without a doubt, the worst performance on a stage in the history of performances. What a huge waste of time, space and matter.

Anderson barely touched the the surface of the 2 biggest idiots on TV. I can finally understand why Spencer's promises of fame and glitz appealed to the shallow Heidi. Lauren, you are so much better without her. Stick to her normal, smart and funny sister and Mom!

I came across this performance & felt so embarrassed for her without even knowing who she was that I turned it off. I don't understand who keeps pushing this girl out there. It must be the big blonde hair. I sure don't see any talent.

Anderson Cooper is a great reporter who reports REAL news and has done more good in his life by the time he was Speidis age, and continues to do so. Do your homework, he is educated, smart, honest, funny, charming and interesting and contributing to society. UHHHHSpeidi, none of the above. Anderson keeps his private life private and I respect that. He reports world news to us, goes to places many of us would shutter at going, and helps those who can not speak to us through him. I am ashamed that the pagent even used her to represent young women.

OMG people...as far as Anderson goes...its a freakin' show! DUH of course he is going to be making fun of people...just like Howard Stern, Talk Soup, etc...jeez lighten up. And performers (I use the term lightly in this case) like Heidi who want to put themselves out there are going to get criticized...and the show WAS awful. I am not a lover or a hater of Speidi...my only experience with them was on a reality show...they were funny to watch. This performance reminded me of when Brittney Spears jumped the gun and performed her song on that awards show. Heidi was sloppy, slow, nervous and very untrained. I thought her pants were fine..she is not a skinny bone like most female celebritys... she has a nice figure. But please, Spence...tell her to ditch the singing and "dancing" until she gets more training...

GOD!! That was hideous!! How she can't be embarrassed with that performance is mind boggling......I guess the Miss Universe pageant and Donald Trump must be feeling the pinch of the recession too, by hiring somebody who cannot sing or dance as entertainment---it was actually PAINFUL to watch her. Maybe next year the Miss Universe pageant can "splurge" on Miley Cyrus or something........LMAO!!
