Heche's Ex Responds to 'Letterman' Jabs

Coley Laffoon thinks Anne Heche was being "mean" when she criticized him on 'The Late Show With David Letterman,' so the actress' estranged husband is firing back on Usmagazine.com and his Facebook page.

"After coming home from showing two different clients two different condominiums, I was disturbed to see Anne taking out her personal frustration on the father of her child on national television," he tells Us.

Laffoon also took to his Facebook profile to express his displeasure. "I wish Anne Heche could see that public bullying isn't good for the soul or positive for her child. It's mean," he wrote as his status.

Heche called her ex a "lazy ass" on the talk show and insinuated that all he does for a living is collect her child support.

"He goes out to the mailbox and he opens up the little mailbox door and goes, 'Oh! I got a check from Anne! Oh! I got a check from Anne! Yay!" she said.

I pray your next boyfriend/husband is more like me for your sake, someone who will cook for you, take you dancing once in a while, horseback riding or quads at the coast for fun type of thing. Anyway, you probably won't ever see this, but I pray good things for you anway, you remind me of my brother Bob's wife Mary she was such a fine person, she passed away back in 1990 from heart ache for my brother who died on her birthday in 1987 push starting his car to take her out for a coffee. ...says the chick from the planet "quacko"...she was off cheating on this guy with some, obviously also quacko, "actor" and she's gonna talk about THE FATHER OF HER SON in public? We all knew that she doesn't have any class, and we know that she needed, and obviously still does, some brain work done, but this proves it. Her kind is, for sure, going to grow up with issues, if she says all of this on a very popular tv show, what do we think that she says to the kid about his father? Nobody should make a living off of child support. The money is for the children. Even if you think he is a lazy bum he is still the father of your children so bashing should be your personal issue and not to be talked about on national TV. Think of the children first.
