My forehead was gouged and my arm had skin hanging off. I was in shock and didn't feel anything," Goldstein told PEOPLE.

Anyone that plays the game with drugs, get what they deserve. Death is a partner to drug use, you use you loose.

Does this remind anyone else of Final Destination?? Just sayin.....

I'm guessing that surviving that plane crash did a number on his mental state. Probably couldn't get over that. I imagine something like that would plague a person's thoughts to no end.

OMG I can't believe it! He survived a plane crash last year, and he dies of a drug over dose! Incredable. Man that leaves Travis Barker as the sole survivor of that plane crash. Can someone say "Final Destination"??

For those of you bashing him think about this..
1. He fought a as hard as he could to beat his addiction.
2. His best friend died in a plane crash that he survived.
3. He lived in Hollywood have you? The pressure on you is unreal and you don't know who loves you for you or your fame.
4. Please let him rest in peace without judging him.
5. Money and fame does not make you feel love!!!
So grow up most of you have never been through what he has and I am very sad. And who ever said 36 is old that is scary. Educate yourself and do something good in your life and not judge. As you see I am not someone who trashes someone and hides.
God rest his soul!

I agree with you Renee.
As for you robert why don't you grow up and get a life you are being down right rude and disrespectful you don't have respect for the dead as you are being judgemental Robert.
break out the violins - poor adam goldstein got a "BIG BREAK" IN TINSELTOWN! A lot of people would have killed for the break he got. He spinned records, it is not like he was a rocket scientist. He screwed it up. Made too much money and he couldn't handle it. He had chance after chance. Survived a plane crash, sober for 9 years. He was 36 years old - he should have known better to go get himself help. He was not a child!
this is only interesting when it happens to MJ. im affraid it's not going to work for this dude.

This is so sad I want to cry. I lived half my life in LA, worked in the biz and survived the drugs! Its 2009 people. Is it wrong to expect people to learn from others mistakes? First MJ now this. How many people are left broken hearted? Drugs fill a hole in the soul,an empty place, I know it very well, there isnt one drug I didnt do but I quit them all but lost many friends who couldnt. I never thought I would be reading this. I can only hope that maybe just one person will learn from his mistakes and put the drugs down and realize they are not the answer and they can KILL YOU.

Another "drugie" OD. Why would anyone feel sorry. He was alone and he and he alone was responsible. One less in this world.

To all who attribute his drug use to the plane crash: Did you read the story? By his own admission he had a life long drug habit he had barely managed to control for the last decade. Did the crash contribute to him getting involved in drugs again? We'll never know, but I kinda' doubt it. Imagine being in the world of a popular DJ where drugs were such a huge part of the scene. I think a relapse would have happened eventually no matter what. I'm betting heroin was involved, or the script drugs were what got him though.
