John Krasinski Pops The Question

Looks like actor John Krasinski will soon be walking down the aisle. 'The Office' star popped the question to actress Emily Blunt, whom he's been dating since November 2008.

"We can confirm that John and Emily are engaged," his rep told PEOPLE.

The two started dating shortly after Blunt split from Canadian singer Michael Buble in July 2008 after three years of dating.

The couple have kept their relationship under wraps, arriving separately to award shows and events including a double date with Blunt's 'The Devil Wears Prada' costar Anne Hathaway and her beau Adam Shulman.

Sure you can know eachother after 10 months of dating. I got engaged 7 months after we met. Then got married exactly a year later. But then we were in our 40's at the time so knew exactly what we wanted and were definitely at that age ready to settle down. Married now almost 17 years and have a beautiful happy marriage.

John Krasinski is the epitome of what every woman with brains should want in a man. But, no. They want to go for the "bad boys" who wind up treating them rotten and without respect and so eventually they find themselves older and with a rotten stinker for a husband. John's soul shines right through his face as he plays his role on the office. He is a sweet, sweet man and I think he will make Emily Blunt happy for the rest of her life. I myself have been married for 26 years with children and it's been Hell on Earth with her.
