This person is just trying to get by like the rest of us. Except he's newly single, has 8 kids, a perpetually ticked off ex-wife and camera's - that he mistakenly let into his life - following his every move.

From what I saw on NATIONAL TV, Kate was domineering and abusive. Most of the time Jon cowered on his side of the couch! I don't blame him for breaking free, but I do blame him for NOT doing it BEFORE all those kids were born! But just because they have children does not mean he HAS to stay in an abusive relationship. They BOTH need therapy!

You know I am a little tired of everyone coming down on Jon. He may not be the best but he has also worked very hard for his family. If anyone has bothered to look at the vidios of when the 6 were born you will see where Kate put everything on Joh. She is the one that got to sleep in. She is the one that didnt give baths or change diapers. She is the one that had the nannys and the house keepers. Her brother and sister inlaw helped out so much I am suprised the kids didnt call them mom and dad. With Kate its always been about the money and with Jon its always been about the kids. Everything changed when Jon said enough is enough. She treated him like a dog and ordered him around like a nobody so I say Koodo's to Jon

If you have EVER watched the show, it's Jon who has always taken 100% better care of those kids then their lazy, b**chy mother. taKe is using those children for everything she can get, has been since BEFORE they were born. Jon WANTED out of the show (again, have YOU ever watched the show???). It was their crazy mother who won't give it up. I am SOOOOOOO tired of Jon bashing when it's been taKe who's brought all of this on herself...

Just because he does not like the program he and Kate + 8 too bad. Jon needs to smarten up. When he is approaching 70 years of age will be too late to pick up the pieces. Kate was not the only one involved in producing these children, I do think that Jon had some part in the action.
What about when all these eight children were born, there was happiness and joy as well as fear that one of the infants could possibly die, as happens from time to time.
Jon and Kate were fortunate to have these children, these children are gifts to treasure. A lifetime commitment was made way before these children were ever born.
Kate also needs to smarten up before it's too late, and reconsider this divorce. It's not going to help the children it's pure torture for them. Kate you and Jon made a commitment years ago, stick with it.
Take Jon back and go to counsling or whatever it takes to get your marriage back on track.
Jon do you think you will be happier with someone else, when you still have to support YOUR children?

I totally agree with you...I think he is a low life going out with Kate's plastic surgeons daughter...Maybe if showed some enthusiasm in his home life with Kate and the kids things might have been different for them....He doesn't seem to care how much he has hurt Kate....He shows no emotion about the divorce while Kate is very emotional....It is a sad situation for all involved but mostly for the kids....

Yes i have watched the show. HAVE YOU? what i saw was jon giving kate just as many snide comments as she gave him , I saw attitude. He was no shrinking violet in that relationship. Yes kate had plastic surgery but Jon had hair replacement, teeth whitening, he got a motorcycle ( did you happen to notice kate donated her scooter?) If any one was out to make money it was Jon. But the weak link had kate do all the dirty work to get what he wanted. Get past the show look at what is heppening now. Jons face plastered all over with how many diffrent woman? even if you dont believe the stories with it, is having so many diffrent woman around your kids so soon after the seperation a SMART idea? The one thing that still comes to my mind was jon in his own words with his own voice saying he was excited to start over. within a week of his seperation? excited would be the last word to use.

I agree! Jon is enjoying all the attention and he looks like a total idiot! Who walks away from 8 kids???? He has a responsibility to be there for them and hold his family together! Everone has their problems. He acts like a teenager! I have heard him say how many times...."I am still young...I'm JUST in my 30's" lol. Yes, Jon...you are in your 30's...act like it! 30's is a MATURE grown adult. Kate could be a bit annoying at times....but she is raising 8 kids and doing an excellent job at that! Those are the most prcious, well adjusted children. Jon was always a ding dong ont he show. I swear he acts like he smokes pot! He just seems...like DUH??????all the time. At least she is acting like a respectable MOM....putting the kids FIRST....hear that Jon? FIRST!

I personally like the show - the kids are simply adorable and Yin and Yang of Jon & Kate's personality was amusing and it's reality - opposites attract - apparently Jon is weak minded - he fell into the attention he was receiving from younger women & he choose a path that he THINKS is better for him - shame on him!! And Yes GOD is watching and GOD IS the final judgement. Mistakes happen, bad chooses are made but GROW UP ALREADY! Kate obviously had to be harsh because the man is obvious a grown KID!!!
