Miley Cyrus: 'I'm Far From Perfect'

Teen sensation Miley Cyrus braved the rain in New York City Friday morning for a short, outdoor concert tied to an appearance on 'Today.' The singer strutted her stuff in a blazer and jeans - slightly more conservative than her controversial appearance at the recent Teen Choice Awards - singing a few tunes from her upcoming album and discussing the pressure on her to be perfect in the public eye.

"I'm not here to say I'm perfect 'cause I'm far from it," Cyrus said.

"My mistakes are kind of a little bit harder because they are in front of millions and millions of people," she added. "It's hard sometimes to smile about it, but it also makes you want to try harder the next time."

The pop star also discussed her album, being released Monday at Wal-Mart stores. "This album was a step towards my next album. I want to be able to step out and maybe take a break for a while and write music that inspires me," she said. "I think there's always a formula ... I think the best way to do that is put it out of the way and do something new."

ya know, all of you morans who have the audacity to call a SIXTEEN YEAR OLD LITTLE GIRL names, should be taken out back and given a good old fashioned spanking...Obviously your parents didn't instill the whole "if you can't say anything nice, don't say nothing at all" mentality in you...If one of your neighbors were saying the same crap about YOUR 16 year old, I'm sure you'd be singing a WHOLE different tune.. What Miley did on the TCA show was nothing like a "pole dance. If I were a man in a strip club and I saw this, I'd demand my cover charge back. For the rest of the dance, she was just balancing herself by holding on to the pole atop an ice cream cart that was being moved around the stage. It wasn't very smooth because she looked like she was afraid she was going to topple off of that thing at any mintue. I'd fire the choreographers. What perpetuates the redneck stereotype that she might want to break away from a little bit is that at the begining of the performance she and her little dancing-girl buddies emerge from a trailer. I find Miley to have a reasonable amount of talent and have not banned my daughter from listeing to her music.

Miley far from perfect is an understatement by you. First off you can not sing and secondly you only made it due to your dad having a hit back in history.
