After Much Thought, LeAnn Announces She'll Divorce Husband

Not that it comes as much of a surprise, but LeAnn Rimes has gone ahead and made it official: she and her husband of seven years are getting d-i-v-o-r-c-e-d.

"After much thoughtful mutual consideration, Deane [Sheremet] and I have agreed to move forward with dissolving our marriage," she told fans on her Web site. "This decision was amicable and we remain committed and caring friends with great admiration for one another."

"Thank you so much for all of your continued love and support -- it is deeply appreciated."

Rimes, 27, and Sheremet, 28, tied the knot in 2002. Their split came just as Rimes struck up a romance with her 'Northern Lights' (TV movie) co-star Eddie Cibrian. The pair have since emerged as a public couple.

AND..has anyone else seen the pics of her and this jerk in some magazine this past weekend, she's all smiles and giddy running around in public now..so proud that they are now an official couple! Imagine how the wife felt when she saw those pics? It's like a punch in the gut. All I have to say is be careful what you wish for honey..that cheat is no longer the wifes problem..he's all yours. Let's see if this pig is all smiles a couple of years from now. KARMA, mark my words..as another poster said, she'll be supporting him someday.

I'm tired of hearing the excuse; well she was only 20 when she got married. People don’t date anymore; everyone jumps into bed with someone or into a relationship. Whatever happened to getting to know someone and having fun with someone without having sex? Then if they see that they are compatible and want to be together, then they can go to the next level and go into a relationship. Females do rule the world in the sense that men do everything in life to attract women, well to a certain age at least. Everything a guy does, is to attract the females whether is consciously or subconsciously. Females have the power between their legs its that simple. If you get 1 average guy to ask 10 girls on the street to have sex with him, he'll probably get one girl that will. Now if you get 1 average girl to ask 10 men on the street to have sex with her, she'll either get all of them or 9. If people lived with the philosophy, I won’t do things to others that I don’t want done to me, this world would be a better place. I feel sorry for Cibrians kids, just another broken home.

Does anybody else think the actor LeeAnn Rimes is involved with is WAY better looking than her husband?
I just looked at both guys and I'm not saying it's right, but I understand.

Her husband looks like a regular guy.
The actor she dumped him for looks like a hot Hollywood actor.
I get why she was attracted.

But she should've just gotten a divorce so she could be with him out in the open instead of cheating on her husband.

What bothers me are the kids. He has two little boys. Did he even think of them. Something like this really effects them.
Most of the time these affairs don't work out and then they ended their marriage for what? Men need to keep it in their pants. They think with the wrong head. Hard to trust men these days.

I can see that LeAnn has no respect for her Wedding vows. If he beat her..divorce him. If he is gay she should have known that before they got married. I am sure she will lose a lot of fans who still believe in the sanctity of marriage.

Compared to her husband and this new boyfriend that she has now. Her husband is just a regular guy look wise compared to Cibrian. Yea, he's way hotter looking than her husband, but she's a real moron to think that there isn't someone else out there that isn't hotter. Theres always a guy out there thats looks better than him, and theres always a girl that looks better than her. Theres over 6 billion people on this planet, theres always someone better looking out there. I hope she doesnt think she can have a family with him, if he left his wife and kids for her. That shows that he doesnt have character, and a real man wont leave his family. This country has extremely too much freedom. But since this kind of behavior is common, we tolerate it, it seems trivial. It just doesnt make sense to me when people get involved with people that have a relationship or marriage with someone else and expect to be with them in that way and think that they wont do the same to them. People need to think before trying to start something with someone that already shows you what kind of a person they are. I guess people rather use 20/20 Hindsight with all their choices.

Why do women always have another man before they decide to leave the husband they have? More and more, this is the case. More men are keeping and raising their children, while they run wild in the streets. So self absorbed, so centered on one person, them, it makes me sick to know so many choose to betray their marriage and forget all about God, who they promised to begin with. It saddens me to read about another divorce. I have recently been through one, that my husband had filed. Even thought I was not the unfaithful One, I did have my other issues. Regardless, I am led to Stand for My Marriage. It is for the sake of our Covenant, and family. Divorce is not a fad, or style- it leads to broken homes and broken children.

Clearly, she wasn't happy in her marriage so what should she do - stay with Dean for the sake of staying married? It makes no sense to stay with someone when you don't love them anymore. She would have left him eventually. Eddie is way hotter than Dean anyway.
