Ashlee Puts the 'La' in 'Late Night'

Ashlee Simpson was Thursday night's guest on 'Late Night With Jimmy Fallon,' discussing the revival of 'Melrose Place' with a ditzy manner that led some to wonder if was Ashlee in good spirits - or on good spirits. Watch the video and let us know if you think Mrs. Pete Wentz was just having fun or a few too many pre-show refreshments.

Ashlee will appear this fall in the sequel to the vintage '90s primetime soap opera. 'Melrose Place' premieres September 8 on the CW. Ashlee is joining the all-new cast as the character Violet Foster.

She was not loopy or under the influence of anything. Her laugh is hideous . She was fine. Is it so slow in the so called entertainment BUSINESS that you need to make up crap stories for these reactions and comments. Did she really say..."and the new cast is new"? That laugh makes me want to drive my head against a wall.

She looks like a creepy skeleton-like monster. Her boobs were bigger now they are pushed down? She looks very long and she hasn't been before. Just looks awkward and has her same old laugh.

Ashlee Simpson has great legs. What else can I say? I'll never meet her.

Her constant, irritating laugh is similar to many starletts. So what?

As for 'yah' perhaps she is German or Swedish. I live in Wisconsin and almost everyone is German, Swedish or Polish...and they all say 'yah.' I do myself. No matter if I have a PHD and 138 IQ, I'm stuck on 'yah.'

I generally don't dwell on celebrity beauties - we have enough gorgeous girls where I live.

I walked into a Subway and wanted a foot long. The girl in front of me was sooooo sexy I walked out with two foot longs, plus the girl. We ate at my place.
