Emma Watson: 'Potter' Hurt Dating Life

Actress Emma Watson, who plays Hermoine in the 'Harry Potter' films, admits the film hasn't helped her dating life. "There are no boyfriend-girlfriend relationships at all because we all work so hard," Watson told UK's Daily Express about her co-stars' off-set dating lives.

Watson admits the kissing scenes in the film made it impossible for her to ever think of her co-stars as more than just friends. "They're awful. For a start, you're in front of a room full of people and second, it's all so premeditated and technical," she added.

"There's not an opportunity to date. And Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint to me are like a pair of brothers," she said.

Give me a break, all these actors/actress's complain of lack of relationships,inability to date etc. because they're working(acting)it's what they chose to do please! They can quit anytime they want and go back to a normal life, I hate hearing people complain when their complaining of the choices they make and continue to live. Life's hard enough,I'm sick of hearing and seeing these spoiled cry babies!

For the record, she couold never go back 2 being normal. The movies are a global phenomenon, as are the books. She is known worldwide. It would be almost impossible for her to just go back to her "normal" life. Some people don't know what they are getting into when they get into the entertainment business, that's why the have trouble adjusting and growing up in the business. Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan are prime examples. And there is no way they could be"normal" even if they tried.

i think that its not fair for her to live like this even though she is getting paid the big bucks. i think everyone is entitled to a good relationship. actors and actresses complain because actng is taking away other life opportunities. Whats life without someone to share it with.

They are being paid millions of dollars to put their private life out there in public. They are actors, showing everything they can do as their art to make money. If they don't like all the fame and attention, then they can walk away from the millions and go attempt to leave a normal life. But if you have fans, that will never happen...
