Simpson 'Could Do Splits' While Nine Months Pregnant

Just in case you were wondering about Ashlee Simpson-Wentz's dexterity while she was pregnant with baby Bronx Mowgli, we are here to ease your concerns and report that she was as limber as ever ... even right before she was about to deliver. Hey, it's Labor Day weekend, so why not get a bit of pre-labor descriptiveness in while we can! The scoop after the split... we mean, jump!

In an interview with Racael Ray (via UsMagazine.com) that's set to air on the cook's talk show on Sept. 15, Simpson talks all about the before-and-after of Bronx, saying her and husband Pete Wentz are still trying to figure out the parent thing, but that Wentz "is definitely over protective. Ashlee says she's "definitely going to lay the boundaries down" on Wentz.

She also says that despite having to very famous parents, she doesn't want Bronx "to grow up in the middle of Hollywood."

She then goes on to talk about her actual pregnancy, and this is where the details that made us scratch our heads come in.

Simpson tells Ray that she "could do the splits when I was nine months pregnant." Not enough for you? Don't worry, there's more! "I could put my leg over my head still. I used to be a ballerina," Simpson shared.

I couldn't agree more JoAnn. While I was reading it, all the typos stood out and made the person who wrote this article look like they need to go back to school before they write another piece.

I know JoAnn.There are plenty of jokes to go around here,not all of them "classy" but all too easy for me to use,because of my overinflated ego and uberl33t sense of self-esteem.Well,that and the fact that fairly sophisticated burns are going to be relatively boring here.So the use of qualifiers to one's statement are abundantly used to prop up an otherwise nothing post about somebody's sister/wife/mom whom I only recognize from her Milli Vanilli sketch on SNL.

"Racael Ray" should be Rachael Ray, "parent thing" parent thing should have quotations as it's slang, and "to very famous parents" should be two very famous parents.
It's late and I don't care enough to double check but those are some pesky errors for such a small article... get it together folks!

We needed to know this, why? Really, why would she need to project the image of herself with her leg behind her head or doing the splits? Is she that desperate for attention? She must not be getting any. Ashlee is so annoying and so is her effeminate bi-polar husband. The thing is Bronx is already out there since the day Ashlee came out and said she was pregnant.Them trying to give Bronx a "normal" life is nearly impossible unless they go hide under a rock somewhere (wish they would) Bronx is going to have to adjust to having has-beens as parents

Excuse me, what is she like 22? Big deal honey. I'm 43, was a prof. dancer for 22 years, teach dance and yoga now. I can do the splits & back handsprings, and could do while I before and after my 3 children. And sweetie, what you did is called ballet. A ballerina is a professional, whom has the leading parts, and dances in pair with the "danceur" a male ballet dancer, playing a lead. Get over yourself.

Big Whoop. Lots of preggo women could do the splits if they tried. There is hormone called Relaxin that is released during pregnancy that helps loosen the body for delivery.
