'Dancing With The Stars' Off-Set Fight

Looks like this season of 'Dancing With The Stars' is already heating up. Actress Joanna Krupa called out professional dancer Maksim Chmerkovskiy saying she was relieved she wasn't paired with him. "He gets a little impatient and really pushes you, so maybe we would've had a little argument here and there!" she told TV Guide. But now Chmerkovskiy is firing back, setting off a feud that's sure to make its way into the ballroom. See what he said. >>

"She doesn't even know me. I'm very happy we're not partners. If she wants to jump on the bandwagon of thinking I'm impatient, that's fine by me," the Ukrainian dancer told TV Guide.

"People always think, 'Wow, Maks is so mean.' I'm not mean. Yes, I'll be frustrated, but I know what to get out of this person so we'll be there Thursday... What happens is people sign up not knowing what exactly they're signing up for. When they're freaking out, I go, 'Listen, if you do exactly what I say, you'll be fine.' Sometimes we need to push our partners because that's what they want us to do," he added.

Krupa and Chmerkovskiy previously appeared on ABC's 'The Superstars,' which pitted athletes from all different sports against each other to determine the best athlete in the world. The show then paired celebrities with the athletes to compete in varying sporting events. Chmerkovskiy and his partner Kristi Leskinen, a U.S. freestyle skier, won the competition. But he claims Krupa never even spoke to him during the show.

"I didn't speak one word to Joanna during the season and I haven't spoken to her one word since we've been here. But as far as I'm concerned, I'm happy we didn't get partnered up. I wish them a lot of luck," he said.

Krupa claimed, "I really would not have been shocked if I got paired with Chmerkovskiy, but when I saw Derek Hough's face, it really put a smile on my face. I got this really great guy. It's definitely a better match."

Euuuwwww. I didn't even realize that was her. I definitely agree with you. I've never liked that hair style on any female. Combine that hair with the bad pose, bad lighting and nasty looking saggy boob gap. Wow. Who let that photo get out? If that was the best from the shoot . . . . wow.

Considering Krupa had a pretty foul mouth on prime time TV for the Superstars competition, it shocks me that Dancing With the Stars would allow her to be on live. She's just trying to get people to notice and vote for her. What a waste. Beautiful, but utterly ignorant.

Joanna Krupa needs to shut up or get out. I don't like her at all. Maksim is a good guy. so he gets a little upset. whatever celebrity he's partnered with needs to listen to him. Joanna Krupa has no Feelings, I hope she goes home first. I hope DWTS is a little more concerned with the costuming this year so mothers can let their young daughters watch it. I can't tell you how many moms I know that have to deny their dancing daughters the thrill of watching a great show just because of the costumes. I mean--come on---you can make beautiful sexy costumes without having the dancers look almost naked for crying out loud! Let's use some imagination here!

I am less concerned with my daughter watching the show than my teenage sons! It used to be a show we could all watch together, but the costumes seem to be getting more revealing with each season. We have really enjoyed the show in the past, but probably won't watch much, if at all, this time around.

Obviously you have never watched true dance competitions.Their costumes are even skimpier. I'm pretty sure that you are more worried about yourself than your daughter. There's nothing obscene about their costumes. They are meant to show off the particular dance. You don't see them in something skimpy doing the waltz. Your daughter probably doesn't even notice the costumes other than the sequins and sparkles.

Most likely the only reason the kids "notice" the skimpiness or whatever the parent finds objectionable is BECAUSE the parent finds it so and is extremely vocal about it! That's assuming the kids even noticed BEFORE comments began.

Exactly, the word is COSTUMES as in "fashion of dress appropriate to a particular occasion or season: dancing costume; winter costume."
...kids go to the beach where there are many bikini's/thongs. I think if you explained to your child that these are not street clothes, you would be good to go...

Joanna Krupa is a model, but also a Witch with a Big B. She thinks she's better than everyone so she get push people to their breaking point. She's jealous that Maksim won The superstar show and she didn't. while she whined like a little brat, makism and his partner were trying the best they can and it paid off. what she need is a kick in the butt and fly up a tree where she belongs. She better be nice to Derek Hough or no one will hire her again. she'll be a nobody for the rest of her life. Derek Hough is a great guy with a Beautiful sister Julianne. I feel sorry that he has to partner with Joanna. let's see what happens.
