'Dancing With The Stars' Off-Set Fight

Looks like this season of 'Dancing With The Stars' is already heating up. Actress Joanna Krupa called out professional dancer Maksim Chmerkovskiy saying she was relieved she wasn't paired with him. "He gets a little impatient and really pushes you, so maybe we would've had a little argument here and there!" she told TV Guide. But now Chmerkovskiy is firing back, setting off a feud that's sure to make its way into the ballroom. See what he said. >>

"She doesn't even know me. I'm very happy we're not partners. If she wants to jump on the bandwagon of thinking I'm impatient, that's fine by me," the Ukrainian dancer told TV Guide.

"People always think, 'Wow, Maks is so mean.' I'm not mean. Yes, I'll be frustrated, but I know what to get out of this person so we'll be there Thursday... What happens is people sign up not knowing what exactly they're signing up for. When they're freaking out, I go, 'Listen, if you do exactly what I say, you'll be fine.' Sometimes we need to push our partners because that's what they want us to do," he added.

Krupa and Chmerkovskiy previously appeared on ABC's 'The Superstars,' which pitted athletes from all different sports against each other to determine the best athlete in the world. The show then paired celebrities with the athletes to compete in varying sporting events. Chmerkovskiy and his partner Kristi Leskinen, a U.S. freestyle skier, won the competition. But he claims Krupa never even spoke to him during the show.

"I didn't speak one word to Joanna during the season and I haven't spoken to her one word since we've been here. But as far as I'm concerned, I'm happy we didn't get partnered up. I wish them a lot of luck," he said.

Krupa claimed, "I really would not have been shocked if I got paired with Chmerkovskiy, but when I saw Derek Hough's face, it really put a smile on my face. I got this really great guy. It's definitely a better match."

Who the heck is Joanna Krupa?

This lightweight woman, (whoever she is), probably could not take the discipline a professional tutor offered. She probably needed a firm hand to get her to work out. She needs to stop moaning and do her job. She will not win!

Krupa is a very poor competitor. I saw her on "The Superstars." She's pretty, but has a very foul mouth and constantly berated her teammate Terrell Owens instead of encouraging him when he got his foot caught in a cargo net. She is rude and obnoxious and I for one hope she gets voted off early on in the competition.

I quit watching dancing with the "stars" a long time ago. Their definititon of "stars" begs to differ. Joanna Krupa? Never heard of her. George Hamilton's son? Never heard of him, what makes him a star? Tom Delay? Give me a break.

I have no clue as to who this girl is but from what I've seen and heard of Mak, he's not very nice. I understand you have to push your partners, especially when they have NO dance experience what so ever but do you have to be mean about it in the process? Every partner he's ever had, he's been so mean to so I feel for any Celeb who does get paired with him!! Don't get me wrong, I think he's great looking too but.. you can look amazing on the outside but if the person on the inside doesn't match, you're going to look like an ugly person.. period!! If he has no problem talking smack on 2 of the Pros (Lacey and Cheryl), that we know of, can you imagine what the footage looks/ sounds like that we don't get to see and hear?? I've been waiting for him to get paired up with someone who won't take his insults and who will put him in his place from the get go but as of yet... no dice!! Peace

Ok, let's review, you wont let your daughters and teenage sons watch a competition of great dancers because the COSTUMES are too skimpy? Pullleesse.
These people have beautiful bodies, they are physically fit and athletic. They obviously eat well. What better role models could a young girl have? Do you think by watching DWTS that they will want to dress like them? or are you afraid they will actually eat a good dinner once they see that they can be thin and healthy too? As for teenage boys watching beautiful women in skimpy costumes, what else is new? Boys will be boys, let them enjoy for the same reasons above. At least they wont be falling for anorexic model types.

I don't think his ex partners or this girl who's speaking out against him is talking about his dancing skills. It's obvious he's a great dancer and very good looking but the issue that his partners have had with him is his attitude. How nasty and mean he can be. Just like the Celebs should expect to work hard to learn these dances etc, he NEEDS to ACCEPT the fact that not every Celeb he's working with is going to catch on to these moves as quickly as he'd like them to!!! The sense I get the way he views it is... either get the moves down and get them down right and quickly or else I'm going to bash you verbally on National TV!! Sorry but that's not acceptable. I'm sure when he first started off, he didn't "get it" right away either so. And there's NOTHING wrong with having some patience with your partner. In fact, having some will get you further IMO!! Just something he should think about, if he even cares that is.... Peace

Maks does what he is paid to do and does it well. I think the wannabe is just trying to get some free publicity. Poor Derek! As far as the costumes, I think most of them are wonderful and if my son was young still or if I had a daughter, I would have no problem with them watching. They will see more at the pool or beach

Joanna is a hot number and she knows it, she wants him so Maksim should hook up with her and give her a night she won't forget. Love is in the air !

*S Clement... yes, dancing is suppose to be fun, fun, fun but from what I've heard and seen of his "methods", there's nothing FUN about it!!

While you'd let him teach you and be impatient with you, that's YOU. Not everyone feels that way!!

I know if it were me, I would have a problem with him. Again, I think he's a great looking man and very talented in his profession but IMHO, there's just no need to act or be the way he is with his partners. A little patience will go a long way. If you have a child or children, you should know this. Now we're talking about a grown ass man, not a little boy but if you didn't know otherwise, you'd think we were talking about a kid!!

Remember what he said. "If she wants to jump on the bandwagon (bandwagon being the KEY WORD here) of thinking I'm impatient, then go for it". Well, that right there should tell HIM something but it's obvious that it hasn't. If it were just 1 person saying he's "impatient" then I'd think that "1" person is the one with the issue but seeing how there are more than 1, that tells me it's HIM!! It's called having common sense. I'm just saying..... ;)

Remember when Misty Traynor was his partner and she popped her Achilles tendon during rehearsal. Max was neither the first one to her nor was the look on his face that sympathetic. Great partner.

And if he is sooo wonderful, why has he never been champion? While Derek and Mark have both won as has Cheryl whom he dissed about her weight.

I LOVE-LOVE-LOVE sexy Maksim!! I think he is probably a perfectionist, but look how perfect he dances! And if his partners can follow his instructions and have a little ability, he makes them awesome too! I wish they would pair him with someone who will be great enough to render them a win for once! He so deserves to win!! He is my favorite male professional dancer by far...YUMMY!!!
