OH Please!!!! George Clooney is gay. I don't care how many beautiful women he surrounds himself with. Heterosexual people can't see through haze of beautiful women, but He's gay!!!! The women are his beards, and any card holding homosexual member of society will tell you. HE IS GAY!!!!

Who cares if George Clooney is gay or not. He's a good actor, handsome and apparently a pretty good guy. Why should anyone care what he does behind closed doors and with whom!

They do pretty much look the same. Kind of like staying true to a name brand tennis shoe.

clooney has the worst taste inwomen. these women are so common. ive seen more beautiful women on the subway in NYC. obviously he is terrified of dating a true beauty who may steal some of the limelight or he is gay...jude law also seems to have also taste in women but he is sooo handsome. clooney is too full of himself and he really should color his grey hair which is doing nothing for his aging looks.

His current girlfriend looks like Cindy Crawford, who happens to be married to one of his good friends. Maybe George has a thing for Cindy and can't have her so he looks for someone who looks a lot like her.

I don't think the type of women that Clooney feels entitled to would have him if they met him and had a chance.
The women I think he is holding out for wouldn’t have him. Women with brains and college degrees usually end up either housewives to decent men or in careers that cannot be scheduled on whim so they can build their life around him the way waitresses, strippers, bartenders, aspiring models, starlets, etc.
To women with actual careers he has nothing to offer but liabilities. He has a bad reputation with women; any woman seen with him is automatically assumed to be a stripper, waitress, etc. and it’s not usually until later that it’s found out what the actual job is.
He’s an actor and really, that’s nothing in real society no matter how many hit movies he has. He’s a total dolt and I don’t think a successful businesswoman really has time to pop over to his movie sets on whim when he needs them.
Men are just as stigmatized, it only shows less. There aren’t any actors with wives in high powered careers. Almost all of them, if not all, are models, actresses themselves, and other misc. types. Nothing that brings respectability.
Women with brains know that George is not a good bet at all, no matter how much money he has. If a decent woman dates him, who has political/society connections, there is no real knowing if he’s using the woman to build connections of his own by using her.
By using her, I mean how there are men who marry a woman for her social/business/political connections and thne expect her to be the perfect asset at all times. She's not allowed to contradict him in public, the deferential little woman, etc.
He would LEAP at the chance to date a socialite, woman in the diplomatic field, heiress, etc., but women from such backgrounds as far as I know do not see an actor as good marriage material. All of them have lives of their own and not ones they'll drop on a last minute basis to be summoned to George's side on a movie set or premier to mingle with his Hollywood buddies.

Hi, this is a reply to DeeCee's comment.
I absolutely agree with you.
Clooney's new Italian girlfriend fits perfectly in his usual lot: she's young, she's beautiful, she's is a showgirl or sth like that, she has no degree whatsoever (don't know about the others, honestly). Ok, culture is not everything and I shouldn't be so prejudicial. In any case, you just have to hear her talk to know that, let alone culture, she must have a rather low IQ. Whenever she opens her lovely mouth you end up wondering whether Italian is really her mother tongue.
And it is.
What goes beyond my understanding is how the two of them can have a meaningful conversation or simply communicate when he doesn't speak Italian (only a couple of badly pronounced words) and she doesn't speak English any better than he speaks Italian. The power and mystery of love!
What leaves Italians (and me, too) speechless is why, since she has become Clooney's girlfriend, NOBODY seems to remember or mentions that in Italy she's a notorious gold digger, quite a veteran in the field, and has a reputation as as very cheap woman. She's had an innumerable string of flings or short relationships and, despite her beauty, she was almost always dumped. When she did the dumping the "dumpees" declared that she had realized that she had wasted her time with someone who couldn't be or wouldn't be of any use to her "career".
I believe the two of them make a very well matched couple: she has finally found what she was looking for (the "oldie" who's going to make her rich and famous with no effort) and he has found his ideal woman - young, beautiful and ambitious.
I don't think he really cares if she loves him or his money.
Bye, Alexandra
