I don't think there is anyone in Hollywood quite as classy as Antonio. She is lucky and blessed to have him in her life. Hopefully she can become sober again.

Melanie is one lucky woman. I hope she gets her act together and lives happily ever after. There just aren't enough "happily ever after" stories. I'm glad there are still men in the world like Antonio Banderas.

She is very lucky to have a supportive spouse. He gives hope to those of us who are the partners of addicts. Good luck to both of them.

I have always adored Antonio Banderas in his movies and his committment to his wife and family. Melanie Griffith has the dream husband who truly loves her, despite her problems, and stands behind her 110%. I hope she realizes what a true gem she has and hope she recovers soon. I have always enjoyed her movies as well. I wish them both well.

Maybe she can get all that crap out of her lips while she's in rehab. That's where she hides all her drugs. I always thought she was very pretty until she messed up her face with those horrible lips.

sometimes the truth can be mean, chica... and while i adore antonio, the man, myself... this committment to wife and family came late in life... he DID happen to leave his first wife for Melanie after they did that movie together...

Does it really matter? AA--NA ? They both represent sobriety. Addiction is Addiction no matter what initials one uses..

and we support you for supporting your family and speaking about this in public so those "reporters who need to make up lies to get attention". looks stupid. thanks for your honesty. clean and sober is about honesty and that equals strength, which equals sobriety.

It is heart warming to see the majority of the comments so positive and supportive of this couple as they struggle with addiction while in the public eye. Going through this as a celebrity couple is surely an added burden. But by giving interviews like this I believe they are helping, by example, other families who struggle with what is essentially a family disease.

All of the comments are very uplifting and encouraging except for the baffoons that pop in to advertising dating sites. WTF? That is so random and inappropriate. Best wishes to Antonio & Melanie!

Can anyone explain to me why any of this is our business or why any of us have the right to make nasty comments about anyone? It is too bad that the small minded had to make this a public issue. I know that there are more people in rehab that are not celebs...lets go find them and rag on them and make their lives he**. Ask youself, if it were someone in my family would I want it spread around...

Why was Melanie with her ex's son, holding hands? Step-mother, step-son? A little too touchy-feely for me. And where was her supportive Antonio that night?
