Janet to Lead King of Pop VMA Tribute

This year's MTV Music Video Awards (Sun. 9/13 @ 9pm EST) will open up with a tribute to Michael Jackson led by his sister, Janet, in what's sure to be a massive celebration of the late King of Pop's life. Michael himself had several memorable VMA moments, including scoring a trophy in 1984 for 'Thriller' and 10 years later famously kissing wife Lisa Marie Presley on stage. He also performed a medley of his songs in 1995 (with guitarist Slash) and then danced alongside N Sync in 2001.

Little information was given as to what exactly Janet's tribute will entail. She also honored her late brother just days after his June 25 death during the BET Awards.

Other performers set to take the stage that night in non-tribute form are Beyoncé, Jay-Z, Lady Gaga, Green Day, Pink, Taylor Swift and Muse.

MJ was found not guilty. For all the kids that he was around only two accused him. Ie was all about the money. Not everone that claims to be a victum is a victum. Not everone is innocent that is set free. I take rape of anyone serious. I know people who were molested as a child raped as a teen and falsely accused. I believe MJ not to be a child molester and his accussers were seen through. Too bad he did not fight the first false accusation. It leaves the door opened for other valtures. 2 accusations for the millions of kids he has been around please use your head. If he did not have money he would not have been a target. The first kid made claims about MJ's body that were proved false.

Firt of all he was NEVER convicted of the crimes her was ACCUSED of. Second one of the boys came foward and addmitted that his PARENTS MADE HIM SAY THAT. Third almost every song that MJ did since the 80's has been mostly written and produced by him and most of his choreography has been done by him since he was a child. Like i said a million times before, Jesus tried to change the world and there were people who only hated him for that, just as for Michael Jackson, all he wanted was to make this world a better place, but no all you a--'s out there only care for the bad and I am sure your life in nothing but hell. So, what else better to do then done a person who saw nothing but good in this world just like Jesus, and he never gave up. I am ok with all that his family does after his death as long as the money is going to his kids. I love Michael and stand 100% behind him, he never hurt a child.

I agree with Keni 100%! Everyone that keeps slamming Michael for the things he NEVER did should rethink how that trail came out. He was found NOT GUILTY! As much money as he had, all some people saw were $ signs and someone with an extremely big heart. Maybe others should have a heart as big as his then this world would be a LOT different. Those of you that have not sinned cast the first stone........ Not one of you can throw that stone can you. I have a sleeping problem too. It's not because of drugs either just don't sleep. Can stay up for days wish there was a cure. So I can relate to MJ but I'm not going to stick a neddle in my arm to solve the problem but I have taken pills to help but don't like the after affects. Can one of you tell me what to do to get some sleep. It's driving me mad.
