The only part of the entire fiasco that rose above the fray was the tribuel to Michael. Kanye and his ilk will disappear from view, but Michael's music will live forever.

I think his actions were completely uncalled for. I also think that it is rediculous that the media is now trying to soften the blow by placing the blame on alcohol consumption. When will Kanye finally own up to his rediculous gestures of fine courtesy and admit that he is in fact racist? When will the media stop pouring fuel onto his fire, as if to encourage his insane behavior.

Kanya would have had my forgiveness if he had just said he drank too much liqour and his fame and stardom has affected his ability to remain humble and he wants to use this expirence to improve how he treats others. Its been my experience that most people forgive anything if a man is really sorry and able to call himself out on his own faults with a desire to be a better man.

This is not the first time that Kayne has taken over a microphone and ranted in front of millions. After Katrina when a fund-raiser was being done for those killed and displaced by the Hurricane he grabbed a mike and went on about how the National Guard was going into New Orleans to murder people there. I am in the medical field and have relatives in the Guard. All that they wanted to do was get in there as fast as possible to try to stop anyone else from dying. The medical personal had to be guarded from gangs in the area from being fired upon, especially at night,because they could be seen through the tents if a light was on. The Guard put their lives at stake to save people and this man had the nerve to berate them. Now, he is taking the spotlight away from a person who received an award. Yes, Beyonce is a talented, gifted young woman who has an incredible amount of class and she did the right thing. The appropriate thing was that he should have gone to the music magazine reports and given them his point of view. He should not be invited to attend anymore of these functions. I have lost my patience with very bad behavior.

I don't remember Al Sharpton and the NAACP protesting when a white Adrien Brody molested a married, black Halle Berry during the Oscars. I guess Adrien's actions meant that all white men are rapist like their ancesters.
