Kanye West Throws Up His Humble Pie

Kanye West did it again, and we thought he'd learned his lesson. The rapper stormed another awards show stage last night to complain about another injustice (the "snubbing" of Beyonce), and this time it appears to have really hurt him. "I am really happy for you," West told a stunned Taylor Swift as she was accepting her first MTV VMA on Sunday. "But Beyonce had one of the best videos of all time." He's apologized, but his fellow artists are calling him a "piece of s--t" "heartless" "bully," and a majority of PopEater readers believe the backlash against him will last indefinitely.

Letting his mouth get the best of him is nothing new for the rapper, and it's only been five months since he nibbled on some humble pie following an ego drubbing by 'South Park.' After that episode -- in which the star was turned into a narcissistic, auto-tune-using gay fish -- he admitted to needing to "drop the bravado ... get past himself" and quit "telling people how dope I think I am." He has explained his bravado by pointing to his past, and how he's having the last laugh after years of rejection by music industry types. "I used to use it to build up my esteem when nobody believed in me. Now that people do believe and support my music ... the best response is 'thank you' instead of 'I told you so!!!'"

Kanye West should not be allowed to attend these type of events, he evidently is not mature enough or sane enough to be in the presence of class individuals. He needs to get over himself, he's an embarrassment and should not be allowed to take away from someone elses moment to receive an award.

Kanye really mad an A$$ of himself. He embarased Beyonce and Jay Z and has a total lack of respect for them and certainly himself. I honestly don't listen to this guys music and I know almost nothing of him other than he was depicted as a Gayfish. However I love Beyonce and Jayz and while I don't now Taylor well either she did deserve her moment. Thankfully, Beyonce redeemed herself and JayZ with such class and grace. Kanye was grasping at his moment of fame and should never ever be awarded for anything... not even a$$ of the year. He deserves nothing. Everyone should turn their back on him and Jayz should cut him loose before he cost them their reputation after all he did find him. His musics not even that great as is obvious by his lack of an award

The VMA's were a combination of very classy and creative to the gutter. Beyonce is one of the classiest performers and human beings, and her talent brings joy to all who love her music. Janet Jackson clearly showed her heart and creativity in memory of Michael. Kanye West was an embarrassment to the music industry, as was the MC who crude remarks were unnecessary and took away from the evening. Lady GaGa needs to get over herself.
