Lil Mama, VMAs Second Stage Crasher

Kanye West is getting all of the headlines thanks to his Video Music Awards stage bum-rush, but he wasn't the only unexpected celebrity cameo. Watch the video below!

Jay-Z - New Music - More Music Videos

Towards the end of Jay-Z's performance of 'Empire State of Mind' with Alicia Keys, rapper and 'America's Best Dance Crew' judge Lil Mama hopped up on stage and for a few seconds was standing on the side dancing. Jay-Z at one point patted her on the leg as a hint to go back to her seat, but Mama didn't get the message.

At the end of the song, she crashed a major photo opportunity as Jay-Z and Keys came together for a closing-out pose.

No this wasn't as bad as what Kayne did to Taylor. But did anyone other then me realize that Alicia Keys has only one earring on? Someone should have checked her over before she come on stage.

For that particular best female video category, the voters decided on Taylor Swift's as the best. Maybe Beyonce's video didn't pull in enough votes to win that award, but she won for choreography and video of the year as well as a third one. And what was Lil' Mama coming on the stage at the end of Jay-Z and Alicia Keys' performance? Trying to steal the spotlight from Alicia? She had no business being on stage--that's Jay-Z and Alicia's time, not hers! Not as wild as the Kanye West stage crasher moment on Taylor Swift moments before. You wouldn't have this at the Grammys with their mostly polished, safe and conservative image.

You know, It's time to let the Kanye thing go!! I have seen Blogs that go from insulting not just Kanye, but hip-hop culture, the way he was raised and more using this incident as the measure of reason. Yes what he did was wrong, because in the end none of us trust the VMA or any of the big time award shows idol, grammys etc.. especially when it comes to the acknwoledgement of minorities.. Hell after all the great work Denzel, holly did in film, it took him going heartless gangsta crook police and her taking off her cloths to get an award.. The issue is that regardless of what he felt, he didnot have the right to take the light from another.. with that said ppl have done worse. Hell, Ive seen worse and I'm pretty sure you have.. they will both move on we should too. If we can still celebrate an artist who slept with and married his cousin( Jerry lee Lewis) An artist who although we love him much, most beleive that he messed with young boys(MJ), an artist that stole music from others ( Elvis) than we can surley get over this. As an artist the man is Awesome as a person he needs some work.. He has problems.. But we are not the judge or jury.. i know im long winded, but this is just my opinion, nothing more.

If they can't handle these celebrities stealing other people's moments, then they shouldn't have the show. It's not fair to the winners who have actually won their awards. You don't see this happening at the Golden Globes or Oscars. Why is MTV still having a VMA show if they don't air music videos anymore?

Will intoxication justify ALL of Kanye's famous tantrums and outburts??? I sure as hell don't think so. I'm pretty sure there were a whole heap of folks at that awards show that shared the same opinion as Kanye (that Beyonce deserved the award)...they were probably DRUNK too but they sure as hell didn't rush the damn stage and steal someone else's shine...much less a 17 year old kid!!! Kanye is a jacka$$ who has to act the damn fool every time he thinks the spotlight isn't shining on his silly a$$. I thought he would have changed his ways after his mother passed but it looks like he has branched out to a whole other level of ignorance and stupidity. Beyonce was beautiful for giving Taylor a second chance to thank HER FANS who voted for her to win the award.

As far as Lil Mama, I don't know what she was trying to prove. She looked a mess and her stupid stunt was SO awkward and out of place. She did not even look proper standing on that stage next to big powerhouse players like Jay and Alicia...she made herself look more like a damn Lil Scrub. Did Jay-Z even acknowledge her??? OMG...what is wrong with these people? If she didn't feel like an a$$, I felt like one for her. That was SO dumb. She needs to stay on her Dance Crew show with lame a$$ JC Chasez and the choreography guy...Shane?

Lady Gaga wears clothes that much her persona and attitude, she's outrageous and "out there", she likes to stir up a fuss about what she wears, she has always been like that. Her clothes are too show off her personality and who cares what you guys say about them, the more you talk about it the more she is going to be known, not that she isn't already.
