Whitney Says Bobby Brown Spit On Her

As the world waits to see Oprah Winfrey's two-part interview (airing 9/14 and 9/15) with Whitney Houston, the first details of it are coming out ... and boy are they disturbing. During the interview, Houston says that during her drug-filled marriage to Bobby Brown, he was emotionally abusive and spit on her once. Houston also tells Winfrey that Brown "slapped me once but he got hit on the head three times by me."

Houston, now 46, says that she was "horrified" when brown spit in her face, and that she was "very hurt, very angry" by the incident.

She also said that she slipped into a drug-induced spiral because she "had so much money and so much access to what I wanted. I didn't think about the singing part anymore. I was looking for my young womanhood."

Houston goes on to say that Brown "was very much the father, he was very much the man. He was very much in control. I liked that. When he said something, I listened. I was very interested in having someone have that kind of control over me. It was refreshing." She called Brown her "drug," saying: "I didn't do anything without him. I wasn't getting high by myself. It was me
and him together. We were partners."

The pop star says her drug use became "heavy" after her 1992 hit movie and soundtrack for 'The Bodyguard.' She tells Winfrey that she used to smoke marijuana that was laced with cocaine. "You put your marijuana, you lace it, you roll it up and you
smoke it," Houston told Winfrey.

Houston is currently in comeback mode with the successful release of her first album in seven years, 'I Look to You.'

Winfrey told Access Hollywood the interview "will leave you gasping," adding, "She does not blame her ex-husband Bobby Brown and she takes full responsibility for her engagement in drugs."

"At one point she says, 'I didn't get out of my pajamas for seven months'. She talks about doing the drugs and sitting in the house and the two of them going, 'What are we doing?'"

I'm prayerful for Whitney and also encourage here to not look back. We all have losers in our lives at some point, but we just recognize them for who and what they are and move forward without them. Love them as we are commanded to but hate the person that they are. Its going to be a hard road Whitney, but you can do it, you have a lot of us praying for you and your family and those who support you.

didnt part of the interview that many of u just read where whitney said that she didn't blame bobby for her drug use, so apparently many of u cant read. of course it is hard to get off the stuff, but it can be done and with him out of her life who probably is still using, she may have a good chance. any one that is trying to get off anything is no loser. so i really dont understand where some of u are coming from.she made many mistakes and had a bad mariage with bobby which she is talking to oprah about, that may be just what she needs, and if he wants to go on to tell his story, which im sure he will, im sure oprah will be glad to have him do so. if people want to tell their own story, what is that to u. when i come across a perfect person i will call him JESUS.

I completely agree with your take. As I watched the interview I was even more disappointed with Whitney's attitude. She may not be the big loser that Bobby Brown is but she sure put herself and their daughter in a "great" living situation. She actually came across to me that if he crooked his finger, she would go running back for more of his control, etc. She faces a long way back in my opinion. Good luck.

I was always horrified by this Queen-Scoundrel pairing and expected the inevitable train wreck much sooner. Nonetheless, I'm glad this loser is out of her life and she might have also learned some lessons about humility along the way. She had a world-class voice and I hope she hasn't lost it.
