Whitney Says Bobby Brown Spit On Her

As the world waits to see Oprah Winfrey's two-part interview (airing 9/14 and 9/15) with Whitney Houston, the first details of it are coming out ... and boy are they disturbing. During the interview, Houston says that during her drug-filled marriage to Bobby Brown, he was emotionally abusive and spit on her once. Houston also tells Winfrey that Brown "slapped me once but he got hit on the head three times by me."

Houston, now 46, says that she was "horrified" when brown spit in her face, and that she was "very hurt, very angry" by the incident.

She also said that she slipped into a drug-induced spiral because she "had so much money and so much access to what I wanted. I didn't think about the singing part anymore. I was looking for my young womanhood."

Houston goes on to say that Brown "was very much the father, he was very much the man. He was very much in control. I liked that. When he said something, I listened. I was very interested in having someone have that kind of control over me. It was refreshing." She called Brown her "drug," saying: "I didn't do anything without him. I wasn't getting high by myself. It was me
and him together. We were partners."

The pop star says her drug use became "heavy" after her 1992 hit movie and soundtrack for 'The Bodyguard.' She tells Winfrey that she used to smoke marijuana that was laced with cocaine. "You put your marijuana, you lace it, you roll it up and you
smoke it," Houston told Winfrey.

Houston is currently in comeback mode with the successful release of her first album in seven years, 'I Look to You.'

Winfrey told Access Hollywood the interview "will leave you gasping," adding, "She does not blame her ex-husband Bobby Brown and she takes full responsibility for her engagement in drugs."

"At one point she says, 'I didn't get out of my pajamas for seven months'. She talks about doing the drugs and sitting in the house and the two of them going, 'What are we doing?'"

I actually think Bobby tried to help Whitney but she was too far gone. I believe in my heart that they did drugs together but Bobby could handle social using and Whitney could not. I know that he loves her and I just wish they could have came through this time together. Everyone wass quick to blame Bobby but even the members of New Edition said that Whitney was the more crazed one.

Whitney was in love with trash, a lot of women date men they are too good for. Clearly he was jealous of her. Ike Turner was smarter than Bobby because he made a fortune off of Tina. Bobby was just jealous and didn't want Whitney being larger than life. She will never be the Whitney she was and she is obviously still in love with that waste of space Bobby. I do hope that she goes on with her life and never looks back and finally gets over him but that man as many out there should come with a warning label. I do not care for Whitney anymore but do hope she takes this chance she has been given cause next time (if there is one) Clive Davis and her mom may not be around to save her from herself.

I didn't see the interview, but I know something about (drug) addiction. More than likely her addiction would have manifested itself with or without B. Brown. It is a mental health issue. Her damaged psyche was only exasperated by a dysfunctional relationship.

Oprah's viewers instead should turn of their TVs and read a book. The time would be more valuable and educational than listening to Whitney's confessional. There is absolutely nothing to be learned from Whitney Houston.

I wish her the best. Who doesn't deserve a chance to start over. But, I've heard thr whole new CD and it's honestly not very good. One song is decent, one good and the rest are poorly produced, almost sounding the same throughout. I think she should have went with somebody fresh instead of all those tired same old-same olds.

I agree. there is one pretty good dance tune that will probably be remixed for all the clubs. Not much else is even close. The current ballad is okay, it grows on you a little, but the Million Dollar whatever song is a total miss and that's the one they are touting the most. And she had to have had more song choices than she's had on all her previous albums combined. Hope she finds an awesome producer and the next CD kills!

I don't care if Oprah has a green one-eyed alien from Mars on her show, she hoodwinked America into believing Obama was a centrist Democrat, that he was the one, when he is actually a left wing liberal demagogue who is trying to make America into a socialist country. Maybe she was fooled too, but unless she comes out and admits it, and apologizes for talking the country into voting for this TAX AND SPEND fraud, I will never watch her again or Ellen either for that matter.

I went back and looked at the bottom picture and you are right. I think Oprah has gone Hollywood and had her nose done.
