Whitney Says Bobby Brown Spit On Her

Houston, now 46, says that she was "horrified" when brown spit in her face, and that she was "very hurt, very angry" by the incident.
She also said that she slipped into a drug-induced spiral because she "had so much money and so much access to what I wanted. I didn't think about the singing part anymore. I was looking for my young womanhood."
Houston goes on to say that Brown "was very much the father, he was very much the man. He was very much in control. I liked that. When he said something, I listened. I was very interested in having someone have that kind of control over me. It was refreshing." She called Brown her "drug," saying: "I didn't do anything without him. I wasn't getting high by myself. It was me
and him together. We were partners."
The pop star says her drug use became "heavy" after her 1992 hit movie and soundtrack for 'The Bodyguard.' She tells Winfrey that she used to smoke marijuana that was laced with cocaine. "You put your marijuana, you lace it, you roll it up and you
smoke it," Houston told Winfrey.
Houston is currently in comeback mode with the successful release of her first album in seven years, 'I Look to You.'
Winfrey told Access Hollywood the interview "will leave you gasping," adding, "She does not blame her ex-husband Bobby Brown and she takes full responsibility for her engagement in drugs."
"At one point she says, 'I didn't get out of my pajamas for seven months'. She talks about doing the drugs and sitting in the house and the two of them going, 'What are we doing?'"

Miss Houston did take responsibility. That hardly makes her a martyr. She doesn't blame her ex husband. In fact, she's making money by telling her story-one of out of control drug use, music, and a controlling man. Where was her concern when her child needed her at such a young age? She needs to rebuild her reputation and bank account. I will say that I hope she does succeed in keeping away from the drugs. I don't need details of the whys and hows. She made the choices in her life. Let her stand by them!

I realize that there are plenty of ignorant people in this world, but who are you people to judge others? Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown are just lost souls. Not only do they need help their child could also use it. Drugs can consume your life! As long as you do something about it, its not to late. YOU PEOPLE SHOULD TAKE A GOOD HARD LOOK AT YOURSELVES INSTEAD OF JUDGING OTHERS!!! NOT ONLY CAN'T SOME OF YOU READ, YOU CAN'T SPELL! WHY DON'T YOU PEOPLE JUST SAY CONGRATULATIONS INSTEAD OF PUTTING DOWN A REMARKABLE THING!!!

All you rock throwing christians are going to catch hell if you keep casting stones and have so little love and understanding in your hearts.
Whitney is just as human as any of us and subject to the same faults as any of us. I only hope the best for her. God be with you Whitney. Love Ya!

From the beginning I always wondered what in the heck she saw in him. You could see her go downhill immediately...but, it was by her choice and no one elses. She is where she is by her life choices and lets hope the rest of her choices are GOOD ONES. I hope her little girl will do well as she grows up. I am sure she was exposed to a lot of bad things. Oh, what people do to their children.............

She said she had "So much money and so much access to what she wanted". I wish her the best, I pray that God will bless her. Then...I hope if she ever believes that she has "too much money" again, that she will give some to the needy. Help people get some needs like education, clothes, a way to work, etc. I always thought if I had a ton of money, I'd find a business that is productive, something that people need, build a factory and put people to work! That is what is needed. Help for the needy is more than just cash that will go away fast. A job and education is the way to success.

Whitney's voice is gone; it was so raspy on the interview! Hate to say it but her best singing days are over; you can't get a new voice!
Her drugs have affected her moneymaker; she'd better hold onto what she has left!

Whitney Houston is a druggie and a liar. She is sick, completely self-serving and not to be believed about anything. While all relationships are at least two-sided, she was the bad influence on Bobby, not the other way around.

Anyone who saw Being Bobby Brown saw what was really up. Whitney is telling a fairy tale to Oprah. It's well known that Whitney wanted Bobby and she wasn't all innocent and light. She knew he was with other women and he already had 2 kids with other women before she married him.
Whitney wouldn't give the man one second of peace without her. She called him constantly like a kid. She was the boss of the relationship, she had the money and the upper hand and used it. You could tell from the show that Bobby was an alcoholic but you could also tell that it was Whitney who had the drug problem. I saw her constant disrespect of him and the child did it too following her lead. His other children didn't treat him that way.
Don't take everything she's saying at face value. Bobby had his faults but it was her horse and pony show all the way.

Yet another celebrity blathering on about recovery, and another ratings score for Oprah! You poor little rich girls!! And what's worse, another six months of that annoying voice on the radio? Go back to the cocaine, Twitney!!

It is obvious that Whitney still loves Bobby Brown, that she always will love him and will gravitate back toward him once again. I also question her calm while talking she seemed to be on some type of medication to do this. I highly respect Whitney but we all know that she has to be on her own without this magnet that is destroying her life. Bobby Brown was a mistake, but he is part of her and when I see how animated she got when she discussed her life with him it makes me so sad that she will never loose that. I wish her only the best but am not holding too much hope for a complete recovery from her drug of choice BOBBY BROWN.

Anyone else notice, how DISTANT Oprah is from her guests? Look at Oprah's POSTURE.
In any case, Whitney is admitting her love Bobby Brown was abusive? GET OUT! bwa hahahahhaha. Chris Brown must have learned from Bobby.
I'd like to know who took care of Whitney's kid when she and her husband were drugging it up for how many years?
Oh sure Whitney, we'd love to support you. This makes me sick. Whitney did have it all, and chose the worst path possible and now needs to make some more money. Whatever.

one of the good things that has come out of this would be that Whitney Houston does amit to her mistakes and is taking responsibility for her actions. Yes Bobby Brown was a part of her fall , it has to be her who had to pick up the pieces and put them back together , not with just recovery but with love and understanding from her father whom are in heaven . Bless her for saving herself from sure death . Now give us the fans a new improved Whitney who will continue to recover and be her best from the inside out......... A heart tells no lie!!!

Whitney use to be my all time favorite but needless to say I have lost all respect for her now.. She was so talented and a natural beauty and her voice surpassed everyone out there.. but now you can see her face has been affected by the drugs and the beauty is gone and her voice is no where near what it was before the drugs.. Its such a sad shame that she fell into a trap with that idiot Bobby Brown and let her beautiful life go down the toliet.. I only hope that she stays on course now and tries to bring back to herself and her daughter and her fans some of the dignity she lost all of those years because she was weak and thought this man and his good time drugs would make her powerful.. look where it got you.. under a rock that you now have crawled out of.. Good luck to you and whenever your in doubt.. turn to God.. hes your only drug..

Whitney was beautiful, talented but made poor choices in chosing a loser to live with. She could have had anybody but also should have known his past. He was nothing more than a drug user, womanizer, used her money to seduce other ladies and get his sorry behind out of trouble. Not too bright for any woman to use up her good years with the likes of him. Saw the interview and could only think how dumb she really was/is

Its clear that Whitney is a stronger person after watching the interview, she is The Voice, she is a national treasure. I can take comfort that she has finally told her side of the story, which more so proves that she is ready to start a new page in her life ... good on you Whitney ... the world has missed you!!
