Colin Farrell Ready For Another Baby

Colin Farrell and Alicja Bachleda are expecting their first child together, he confirmed with PEOPLE.

"Yeah, I'm going to be a father again. I'm very excited man! Very! There is nothing more exciting really," he said.

The baby will be the first for Polish actress Bachleda and the second for Farrell, who has a son, James, 6, with model Kim Bordenave.

So what part of parenthood is the actor looking forward to the most? "Everything. The whole thing," he says. "I will take it as it comes. Even changing dirty diapers."

Lil Wayne is a joke and an admitted absentee father (much like his own, but no real surprise there). He had his first child at 15 and will have had at least three more children born to three different mothers in the course of a year. While I don't agree with anyone having children out of wedlock, there is a huge difference there.

hmmm...let's see. All these black children born to unwed mothers are really getting a head start in life, aren't they? Do you equate "being there for your child" as showing up once a week with a box of diapers under your arm? I would assume by your answer that you were brought up without a fulltime father's influence. Unless you have grown up with a dad in the household fulltime, you really don't fully understand what an advantage it is in life.

Wow...that statistic is frightening! I would think black people would be ashamed of that fact and try to stop having babies unless they were in a married relationship. Maybe then, they would be able to stop this cycle of poverty and violence and actually improve their lives.

Stopping the cycle of violence and poverty begins with Education and Freedom. Violence and Poverty stops with the end of White American standards, culture and entitlement being downloaded in OUR collective brains. It would improve MY LIFE when empty RACIST statistics cease to exist in this country. Colin Farrel is no different from Lil Wayne, yet we read quotes on Farrell on Fatherhood and all we read about Lil Wayne was that he has two babies by two different women and all these sorted details, plus lots of racist remarks. This article makes Colin look like Father of the Year. It says he is Ready??? Ready. Wow! Why? He is a White Boy ... They always get over!

Unless you have had a fulltime father while growing up, you never fully understand the importance of it. Why would you want to have a child with a person who you wouldn't fully commit to in marriage. Being a fulltime father is more than showing up once a week with a box of diapers and a happy meal.

I think NOT being married shows that the child has parents that has not made a "Real" committed relationship with each other. I mean, come on it take 18 years before a child is legally adult. Alot can happen in that time. It starts the child out with an expectation that people do not commit to each other. Not a good example.

There are more PEOPLE OF ALL COLORS PERIOD in this day and age that have babies before getting married or just have them and not get married at all. Is it right? Not really. However, a marriage isn't some magic shield that protects you from being left by the man, being cheated on, or any other things that can go wrong in a marriage. It is better to be married when you have kids, but what's the difference between a woman that has a baby out of marriage and a married one that keeps getting pregnant to a man who she fights with constantly or is just no good? Both are potentially doing their kids a disservice by having babies into a shaky situation. The married man can be a bad father in his marriage then a deadbeat and not pay child support AFTER he is divorced just the same as the man who was never married to the mom of his child.
There are two women I know at my realtive's job one black, the other white. The black woman in her mid 20s has been married for two years and just had her first baby. The white woman is 14 or 15 years older so you think she would "know better" but she has a baby that was barely walking before she got pregnant with the second. The boyfriend is white as well and around her age and judging from the way he treats her,it is very likely he won't stick around to be there for his kids let alone marry her. Yet if a black man did the same thing, he'd be all kind of names. A loser is a loser. A deadbeat is a deadbeat black, white, or green.

Are people here REALLY trying to compare Lil Wayne with Collin Farrell? Really? Collin is a jack ass, but he is attentive to the 6 year old son he has, and waited 7 years before getting his girlfriend who he is committed to pregnant with his 2nd child, whereas LW has been an absentee father, a sperm donor really, and impregnated 3 other different women all in the exact same year!!! He's just out there spraying his sperm and not being there for anyone... Sorry, but that is NOT the same thing at all!! There is no comparison between the two, and it has NOTHING to do with racism!!!

Nearly 72 percent of the births to black women were out of wedlock. Mothers were unmarried in about 51 percent of Hispanic births and 28 percent of non-Hispanic white births.
