Actress Jennifer Grey, who played Frances "Baby" Houseman, alongside the late Patrick Swayze in 'Dirty Dancing' recalls how much fun the two had on set together. "When I think of him, I think of being in his arms when we were kids, dancing, practicing the lift in the freezing lake, having a blast doing this tiny little movie we thought no one would ever see," Grey told PEOPLE.
"Patrick was a rare and beautiful combination of raw masculinity and amazing grace. My heart goes out to his wife and childhood sweetheart, Lisa Niemi, to his mom, Patsy, and to the rest of their family," she added.

It was widely known that Jennifer and Patrick couldn't stand each other, so it seems pretty hypicritical for her to make this statement.

If you have nothing good to say about someone, expecially in this situation, then you should have enough manners and grace not to say nothing at all. He was a great actor loved all his movies, roadhouse, dirty dancing ect. God be with him and his family.

As a cancer survior I am disgusted with those who posted negative comments. You need to have cancer to know what another human being goes through even when it is in remission, the threat is always there. He was not the greatest actor but a good one and a very humble being. Leave him rest in peace and with dignity. He was loved by his family and friends just as we all are loved by family and friends and they will feel the loss. This is part of life for all even those with negative attitudes. Get a real life. Patrick gone but not forgotten, you left with dignity.

I do not need to have cancer to know what a cancer patient goes thru. I have seen and been around too many people with the disease. I can't say that I know what they go thru because that is not something that you say unless you have been there. I recently lost my 23 year old son in a fatal auto accident. He left behind a 2 1/2 year old son. I have had people tell me that they know what I am going thru even tho they have not lost anyone close to them. Well let me tell you, they don't know what I am going thru and no one will ever know what a cancer patient goes thru until they have lived that experience.
You were an inspiration to us all, great movies ,great man you will be missed.

Yet another male cancer victim. Male Americans continue to suffer from a staggeringly higher cancer incidence and mortality rate and continue to have a substantially shorter life expectancy compared to female Americans. (The life expectancy gap between men and women increased from one year in 1920 to 5.2 years in 2005.) Despite that reality, far more federal tax dollars are spent on health awareness, education, screening and treatment programs for women than for men, especially with regard to cancer. And, while for many years there has been an Office's on Women's Health at the Department of Health and Human Services, as well as NIH, the CDC and the FDA, there still is no Office on Men's Health anywhere at the federal level of government...And, so, like a cancer, the gender gap will continue to grow.

Patrick Swayze was a great actor and will be sorely missed. My heart goes out to his wife and family in their time of grief. Such sadness that someone so talented left this world so young, in the prime of his life.

Well Miss Trina I can see that your family did not teach you how to be a human being to start!!!!
shame on you for this tirade of non feeling idiocy!
You may not have liked his acting, but many of us did because he made us feel something- obviously you do not have feelings and no romance in your soul, too bad for you- he was funny, sweet and very cute. to battle this type of disease for as long as he was able goes to show how strong his faith and convictions were.
Rest in peace Patrick, you will not be forgotten and our love to your loving wife of 34 yrs, Lisa and mom Patsy!!!
HIS STRENGTH WILL BE REMEMBERED BY ALL!!!

It is so sad that you hve so much hatred in your heart. Thismandid nothing to you personally and niether did his family. Why would you disrespect a person likethat? Is your life that miserable that you would say ugly things? The movie you spoke about was not the greatest in the world no, but non the less it was funny and entertaining. His life wassomuch better than that. With that said look into your self and see what it is that makes you so unhappy. I for one have said a prayer just for you, because that is what kind peope do when others are hurting, obviously you are hurting, but the pain will go away soon, keep smileling it can only help.

That is rude and uncalled for, this man lost his battle with cancer and you should be ashamed of yourself for being so sick, if you don't like him, then don't comment, but dont get on here saying mean things. You will get what you deserve

Patrick was a beautiful man who made wonderful movies and much more. I think the world lost a great man and a great talent. As for the people who are making negative comments...you make me, a normal person with a heart and conscience sick. I don't understand why anyone would post such ignorant stuff...who raised you??? My thoughts and prayers go out to Patrick's family and friends and to all of us who appreciate men like him...an actor, singer, dancer...but most of all a wonderful husband and family man...something very rare these days (especially in Hollywood). I will miss you being in this world.

I am sorry about your loss. He was a down to earth person and he was a best actor and dancer. Lisa, I am sorry about your loss and he won't be suffering anymore and he is in the better place. He is with his dad, sister and other families. You will be seeing him again. I lost my daughter and she got killed in an car collision and she was 6 years old and I really do missed her very much and it was very hard to lose the loved one. It was very hard on me and have a rough time but I moved on and my daughter is in the better place and she is with Jesus. He will be greatly missed. My prayers go out to his wife Lisa, family and friends. Rest In Peace, Patrick.
